Nose is pineapple, rose water, pale malts, pine and hints of grass and citrus. Taste is pale malts, grass, melon and hints of red fruits. Light body, medium carbonation. Sigmund	3.5 Det Norske Brenneri Roughneck Pale Ale 330 ml bottle, from the brewery (which probably is only a client brewer), they are otherwise a distillery (Arvesølvet Aquavit). ABV is 4.5%. Hazy deep golden colour, moderate to low white head. Nice aroma of spicy and citrussy hops, probably American. Light bodied, plenty of carbonation in the mouth. Fresh and citrussy flavour, a decent bitterness in the finish. A pleasant refreshment, no more, no less. It has now been confirmed that the actual contract brewer is Dugges, Sweden.
