Beach City Ruski Noir
Coca smell, brown head, very dark color, but man this is one of the smoothest 11% ABV beers out there. Be careful, it is so smooth very little burn you can really go thru this one easy. This is the closet you can get to a milk stout with out it being one. So milky, so smooth, sweet on the swallow, bitter chocolate taste after the swallow. I love this beer.

Beach City Elegant Monk
A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of fruity esters, light solvent notes, light grapeskins, nice if a bit cloying. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light grapeskins, alcohol warmth, light vanilla extract, pleasant. On tap at Beachwood BBQ in Long Beach.

Draft at the brewery This is nice D/IPA. The ale poured a darker amber than the other ales. It had an off-white head with lacing. The medium body IPA offered a nice balance of citrus and malt. The higher ABV was detected but smooth. The average carbonation helped to mute the alcohol. The finish was clean with a warm bitterness to the last swallow.

Beach City Hang Five IPA
Not sure what the other guys were drinking. This is an excellent IPA for those of us on the citrus/pine side of the spectrum with plenty of hops to keep the grape fruit in check. Too bad their double was already sold out, maybe next time..

This is not a sweet stout! Talk about bitter, wow. NO sweetness at all to it, just cocoa and bitterness. Did not like it, but then again explains why it was $4.69 at my store.

Beach City Ruski Noir
On tap @ Beach City. Black pour with a thin khaki head. Spilled some on the gosh danged floor while I was @ it. Just hyper roasty and ashy. Coffee grounds all over the place. Smokey and earthy. Sort of charred as well. Flavor is damn near meaty. Gross. Smoke, char, ash, and more roast. Charcoal and coffee grounds. Super bitter. Maybe some booze and mild malt sweetness. Chalk and grass on the back of the throat. No thanks, not so mad I spilled some.

On tap @ Beach City. Clear dark amber pour with off-white foam. Lots of pie spices on the nose. All spice, nutmeg, and some ginger. Caramel and plenty of toasty bread. A hint of squash and grass. Mildly vegetal. Flavor is a touch bitter, but does have good caramel and toasted bread character. Quite grassy and mildly bigger. Decent spice, though not as pronounced as the aroma. Kind of muddled. Eh.

Beach City Rye't IPA
Large sample in Schooner, Sunset Beach about 10 miles from the brewery on 15th July 2014. Labelled as a black IPA by the bar, they were telling the truth, this is a very dark brew, the head a tanned blanket of foam. The nose and taste were malty and sweet, with a liquorice undertone. Strange overall taste and feel to the beer, could not quite put my finger on it but, I did not buy a pint preferring the Firestone Wookey Jack sample I was given to compare.
