Rich on the palate fruity and sweet initially with a hint of bitterness in a warming full malt finish. 2. Cask Handpump at Costello's Bar, Warrington 21/07/2022 Some fruit aroma. Small bubbly white head. Amber coloured and strong in alcohol with a little sweet fruitiness. Slightly rich on the palate with a warming full malt finish. Saturday, August 6, 2022

Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, dark fruit - sweet dark fruit, prune - figs. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. BlackHaddock	2.5 Lymm Dam Strong Bottle conditioned 500ml: BBD Feb 15. Poured at home into a UK pint sleeve on 10th Jan 15 during a ’random beer tasting’ with myself. Amber body with a slight mistiness, no sediment left the bottle that I saw. The head started full and deep, but it soon fell away to a wisp and collar. Toffee Apple nose with an off vinegar undertone. The sourness from the vinegar aroma carried on into the taste unfortunately, this beer was ’on the turn’ if not already ’turned’. Malty semi-sweet base below the off-ness but I have a feeling I will be sat on the loo for a while tomorrow because of this: I refuse to drain pour it though! Saturday, January 10, 2015
