Jackrabbit Widespread Proximity
Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma has citrus and other tropicals. Med body. Flavor is quite amazing. It's very dry and more than moderately bitter. It has a bite. Citrus, earth, melon and dank notes. Complex. Malt isn't discernible for me. Gotta be there tho, or this wouldn't taste so good. Earthy danky bitterness goes on and on.

Jackrabbit Märzen
Can from Corti Bros. Pours clear, med dark amber with a huge foamy beige head that tried to lace. Aroma of siightly roasty caramel malt with some Noble hop I think. Med body or so. Aroma is that roasty caramel - but the beer seems more floral/fruity than grass/spice. Fairly strong flavor in the event. Kinda likin' it.

Jackrabbit Father Figure
Not much information about this hazy IPA, except a label that reminds of myself in a white T-shirt. 5 weeks old can (May 30), aroma of tropical fruits, stone fruits, citrus and... roses! Not sure what's that from, and I ignore the hops used here. Hazy orange pour, but it's a Californian hazy, so not that dense, and slightly translucent, creamy, everlasting head with generous, soapy laces. Moderate bitterness, medium sweetness, malty biscuits, flavours recalling stone fruits, pine, tropical fruits. Feels somehow unbalanced and funky. Light body, moderate carbonation, easy to drink. Not something I've enjoyed much. Lacks character and not well balanced.

Jackrabbit Adventures of Tart Raspberry
Can version calls it "raspberry sour". Interesting. Low carbonation. A bit thin & astringent, even for style. Aroma is a beautiful wall of raspberry candy followed by cherry cough syrup. Malt is there but offers little to comment on. Flavor doesn't live up to aroma, but is still good

Jackrabbit Saison
Not a "Saison". Definitely a farm house ale but most of the Saisons that I have had go through a second fermentation. The second fermentation process really imparts a lot of complex flavor that this beer is missing. Its a farm house ale and its okay.

Can from the Davis Co-op. Pours clear dark brown with reddish glints and a foamy beige/tan head. Maple wafts from the pour. Med body. Flavor is maple, nutty, slightly roasty malty. Not dry, but far from sticky. It's bitter, and I'm not figuring out what helps with that. Not so overdone as some maple flavored brews. Decent.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours slightly dirty gold with a creamy/fizzy white head. No cherry color. Aroma is very lime. Approaching medium body.
