koleminer20	3 Tibbs Gose to Katmandu From notes. This one was enjoyed at the MGB Summer Beer Fest 2017. The pour is a darker golden orange with a thin ring of khaki colored head and no lace as it disappears. The aroma is not that good. There is pretty strong salt and a light citrus to it. The funk is pretty heavy and there isn’t a whole lot else going on. The flavor matches this. It’s like a sweaty orange. There is a light funk and a ton of salt. The mouth feel is lighter medium bodied with a sharper carbonation and a lingering funky citrus. This might mean well, but this thing definitely isn’t a good gose. koleminer20	3.2 Tibbs Ben Jonesin' - Bourbon Barrel From notes. This one was enjoyed at the MGB Summer Beer Fest 2017. The pour is a darker brown color with a thin ring of light tan head and a couple spots of lace as it fades. The aroma is definitely full of bourbon. There is a hint of chocolate and a nice roastiness to it. The toffee and a burnt sugar come in late before a quick transition to some charred oak. The flavor is similar. The heavy bourbon and oak on the front end really don’t leave a lot to the imagination. The maltiness and chocolate come through late and the toffee is light and moves to the oak. The mouth feel is light bodied and watery. The carbonation is softer and this just falls off of the tongue in a hurry. Not awful, but it needs some help. 6 4 6 3 13 Saturday, July 29, 2017
koleminer20	3.1 Tibbs Ben Jonesin' From notes. This one was enjoyed at the MGB Summer Beer Fest 2017. The pour is a darkish brown with a watery look and a bit of a cola appearance. I’m not on that. There is a bubbly ring of head that fades quickly. The aroma is pretty decent. There is a nice chocolate and coffee up front, but they fall off quick. A light maltiness and a hint of roast is left to pick it back up, but it’s watery and pretty light. The flavor is much of the same. It’s got a great start with the complex chocolate, roasted malt, and a light toffee, but then it just gets sharp, lightly boozy, and jumps off of the tongue. The mouth feel is watery and messy with a sharper carbonation and a lingeringly messy finish. This had a little promise. 7 3 6 3 12 Saturday, July 29, 2017

b3shine	3 Tibbs For Richer Or Porter Draft to pint at Tibbs. Looks subpar; a murky, undercarbonated darker brown with very thin beige head that steadily dissipates into very thin lacing. Smells and tastes of dark malt and chocolate; pretty no-frills though. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and finishes with some mild roast-like bitterness. Inoffensive, but underwhelming. Smells good; malty with a nice balance of chocolate and toffee. Tastes like it smells, but less balanced, with a mildly but pleasantly bitter medium-bodied mouthfeel. Ugly, but enjoyable. 574deadzone	3 Tibbs Ben Jonesin' Dark brown pour with a mocha head. Nose like a heath bar (I think that was they were originally calling it). Really sweet, somewhat bitter. Thinner bodied, lower carb, kinda toasty finish. Decent brew, but really just too sweet, which shouldn’t be a surprise given the idea behind it. Sunday, January 17, 2016

Smells solid; cinnamon-forward with notes of dark malt and roast alongside a mild chocolate cherry cordial presence. Tastes like it smells with a slightly bitter medium full-bodied mouthfeel. Smells semi-sweet with notes of saison yeast, clove, and mild notes of citrus. Tastes like it smells with a medium to medium full-bodied mouthfeel that’s a touch warming. Smells of mild wheat, honey, clove, and yeast. Tastes like it smells with a touch of apricot as well. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Not bad, but I definitely wouldn’t call it a blonde ale. DrSilverworm	3.1 Tibbs Lovell Double IPA Taste on tap during Michigan Summer Beer Fest. Totally hazy orange amber color, kind of darker. Thin sort of bubbly white head. Some bits of lace. Bigger orange and mandarin citrus aroma. Kind of on the sweeter side though. Light to moderate bitter, bit of heat. Bigger body. Lighter carbonation. Light slick texture. bit of alcohol warmth on the back end. An alright DIPA. Bit sweet, could use more carbonation. Monday, July 27, 2015

TheBear11D	3.7 Tibbs Bourbon Oaked Porter On draft in a snifter at Tibbs. The Bourbon Oaked Porter pours black with a decent frothy brown head that lasts a fair while.
