MicroGrog	4.1 Border X Horchata Golden Stout Tulip at their spot. Not quite clear, dull amber pour. Smell is mild, mellow, faintly nutty with weak cinnamon toast crunch thoughts. Taste is creme, milk, faded spice, soft but lingering bitterness, big on walnuts, fading with some dry mouth. Milky, but well carbed. This was the winner. Thursday, May 5, 2022
MicroGrog	3.2 Border X Blood Saison Tulip pour from the Logan location. Heard good things. Board doesn't have a description, but bar man said it was hibiscus that gives it a the deep maroon color. Otherwise, it's clear & active. Smell is yeasty, with the slightest twinge of acid. Not the fruity nose I expected. Taste is yeast, copper, sharp grain, light acidic bite, no fruit. Feel is clean, a bit yeasty but not mealy, on point pushed carbonation. Wanted more depth here. Just okay for $8.50. Thursday, May 5, 2022
Dogbrick	3.6 Border X Abuelitas Chocolate Stout Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Pours black with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Malt, chocolate and coffee in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey aftertaste. Decent overall. Sunday, March 22, 2020
Dogbrick	3.6 Border X Pepino Sour Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy golden color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, wheat and cucumber. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart lime, cucumber, wheat and malt. The finish is citrusy with a key lime aftertaste. Decent overall. Sunday, March 22, 2020
jjgmd	3.8 Border X Pepino Sour Can. Pours a lime green color with no head. Nose is heavy cucumber. Taste is tart cucumber and savory. Texture is light with soft carbonation. Finishes on the tart cucumber notes. Very well done ! Saturday, February 29, 2020

seymour	4.4 Border X Pepino Sour Tasted at GABF 2018 in sampler glass. Mostly-clear golden colour with white foam, lasting with lace. Never expected to rate a fruited kettle sour so highly, but this beer was surprising is so many ways. The lacto tartness worked really really well with fresh garden essence of cucumber plus the tangy sweet & sour of key limes. Light body, strong carbonation, dry finish, easy-drinking and complex at the same time. Well conceived and executed, a fest favourite. Monday, September 24, 2018
GTAEgeek	3.4 Border X Tejuino Sour Taste from a crowler. Pours a clear, yellow color, with a small, grey ring. The nose is tequila, cream, light lime, caramel, and salt. SDalkoholic	3.2 Border X Grand Jefe On tap @ their Barrio Logan location: Minor scent of banana and clove but minimal. Appeared a glowing bright yellow with thin layer for head. Flavor was lacking and tasted of dead yeast and was not that appetizing. Not sure if this was aiming for German style or the American wheat beers that get called anything German style.
