Lucky Devil Oud Kriek
SFBW Opening Gala 2018. Cloudy orange-red beer with a thin ring of white foam. Ooof, this is rough. There is a bit of cherry in there, but otherwise it's an assault of vinegar, lemon juice, and solvents. Incredibly sour and harsh/chemical notes to it. Kind of slick on the tongue with light carbonation. Just very, very rough.

Lucky Devil Oud Framboise
SFBW Gala 2017. Light amber beer with off-white foam. Not overly tart, but there is some tangy raspberry and a bit of lactic acidity, too. More oak than I would have expected. Somewhat on the sweet side, too. Light booze. A touch of vanilla. Not bad.

Lucky Devil Oud Kriek
On Tap @ Bay Area Craft Beer Festival, Martinez, California (16.04.2016)
Dark amber . Quite unusual color as for the Kriek beer. The vast, durable foam, also unusual in these type of beers. The aroma is wild, funky, stable, horse saddle, Bretty. Powerfully vinegars ! The taste is similar. Very sour cherries are clearly exposed . Vinegar, sour and vinegar again. Many notes of wet wood and vanilla . Perfectly balanced beer. Very thick full body, smoothness and high drinkability at 9% ABV. ! BRILLIANT STUFF !

Clear brown with a small head. Floral aroma with a strong caramel foundation. Mellow bitter flavor, just a tad sweet. Surprisingly excellent.

Bomber from the Westside Renaissance Market in Ukiah, CA. Pours orange gold with creamy white head. Aroma is fruit esters, Belgian yeast/spice - all that sort of stuff. med body. Flavor isn’t quite as varied and interesting as the aroma. Fruit, a little earth, a little spice, maybe even a touch of funk. Just a bit sweet in the finish. Actually I’m getting more impressed with the flavors. Glad to have found it.

Overall a decent abbey ale, but was hoping for something a bit more interesting. Pours an ugly clear orange. Smells of mandarin orange. Taste has some more of that, and a bit of citrus that lingers on your tongue. Has a bit of an empty finish. Had on tap at Pacific Coast Brewing.

Lovely fruity aroma golden in color. It is crisp and smooth with a little tiny hoppy bite. It has that Belgian style bready flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
