Marko	3.2 Buchvald Svetlá 12° Tap at Žil Verne with Gurthnar, Hrabren and Ogivlado - the only place I've seen it at, but they have it regularly on tap. Golden body, white head. Bit herbal, lightly grainy aroma. Herbal hoppiness in the taste, somewhat lean grainy maltiness, ending dry and with a vague bitterness. Okay. Nothing great, nothing wonderful. Wednesday, May 1, 2024
Hrabren	3.2 Buchvald Svetlá 12° On tap at Žil Verne, Bratislava, shared with Ogi, Marko and Gurthnar. Clear golden to amber, small off-white head. Malty, bready aroma, soft butter. Hints of caramel, some hops also. Light, crisp, not entirely clean. Quite refreshing. Medium body, light bitterness, light finish. Sunday, April 28, 2024

Gurthnar	3.1 Buchvald 10° Tap at Salon piva. Med-thin body, moderate carbonation. Light vegetables present, but otherwise a quite clean neutral lager. Nose is pale malts, light buttery note, grass, breads, a touch sweet. Taste comprises toasted grains, light butterscotch, grass, bread dough, pale malts. Colour is pale gold, almost clear. Aroma is characteristic for the style, bready, bit yeasty, malty, floral spicy. Karol	3.5 Buchvald Svetlá 12° Tapped at Hostinec Richtar Jakub in Bratislava. This Buchenwald, sorry, Buchvald lager beer is lagered 3 months. Aroma is of malt and fruits. Color is copper golden. Head white thick but dropped quickly. Almost no carbonation. Yes. Strange, but no objection. Taste is a very good balance of matl, wallnuts, sorb tree fruits and hops bitterness. Initial sharp sweet malt, which quickly turns moderately bitter, with clean noble hoppy flavour. Finish is mostly bitter, moderate duration. Okay beer, must be great on tap. 6 4 6 3 12. Tap at RJ. Aroma malty, grainy. Clear golden colour. Moderately lasting head. Taste is nicely balanced, grainy maltiness, subtle Czech herbal grassy hops. Bitter hoppy finish. Easily drinkable. Very good.
