ManVsBeer	3 Bluestone The Green Knight Can from Bluestone Brewery, Gwaun Valley. Blonde with a head. Pretty much as described with its hemp providing a lightish aroma and flavour to what is a lager in style rather than taste. Hints of citrus and good soft water too Wednesday, April 3, 2024
Martinsh	3.2 Bluestone Stone Cold Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours golden yellow with minimal almost white head and good lacing. Hops are to the fore in the aroma, plus some hints of citrus. In the mouth it is zesty and quite sweet with flavour of barley sugar and floral hops. Later on comes tangerine and hints of marmalade and sultanas, leading to a quite fruity finish. It’s reasonable, but nothing spectacular. Thursday, March 7, 2024

jmgreenuk	3.4 Bluestone Nelson Sauvin Cask at the Ship and Castle, Aberystwyth. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is malt and tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a smooth, malt, juicy lemon citrus, light herbal floral, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. imdownthepub	3.3 Bluestone Fossil Fuel Canned, 440ml from Stori Beer & Wine, Bala, Merioneth. Very dark brown with cream head. The 'shot' of Espresso does appear to dominate this beer from the off. minutemat	4 Bluestone Rocketeer Bitter 500ml bottle from The Bay Hop, Colwyn Bay. Looks the part, deep chestnut amber, relatively clear with a sparse off-white topping. Aroma brings moderately sweet caramel malt. Continues to taste, good rich moderately sweet malt with integrated marmalade dried fruits and a cool bitterness. Very good Welsh bitter. dragnet101	3.3 Bluestone Masta Blasta Can from Wales Ales. New brewery for me. Pours a 3/4 hazy gold with small white head. Aroma has a sharp citrus and tropical fruit - passionfruit and pineapple come to mind, a light dankness also. Taste follows the same path with a slight caramel noted malt. Its sweet, tangy and rich with a long bitter note in the finish. Slightly off balance for me but I like a haze-ey so finished it very easily! [#3639 rate / #29 Welsh brewery] Tuesday, March 14, 2023

Light, thinnish malts, crisp, biscuity then a lemon / lime hopped note with a hint of tropical fruits. A pleasant, drinkable session type beer. Sunday, October 23, 2022

Lovely wooden flavours blend with other interesting ones such as coffee and vanilla. In fact this beer is so complex that it is hard to truly describe it.
