2.6 Fuggles Hipster from Mars On tap at Steamworks- Mt Pleasant, pours a cloudy rusted red with a small white head. Aroma is somewhat vegetal, with a touch of cinnamon and plenty of earthiness. Flavour is muddled, with plenty of earthiness, muddled bready malt, a hint of cinnamon, and herbal notes. Not sure what they were going for here but this is super lame. 2.7 Fuggles Hipster from Mars Draft pour enjoyed at Fuggles, Richmond. One of those TBD styles upon ordering. No shortage of Big Red cinnamon. Reddish pour, almost purple. Patchy head. Must love cinnamon and spice here. Bold flavor. Minty cool finish. Sharp spice. Long lasting, borderline cinnamon challenge mouthfeel. Very limited target audience with this brew. It's unique, I can say that for sure. Friday, February 10, 2023

3.5 Fuggles Cherry Mint Gose Draft pour enjoyed at Fuggles, Richmond. Part of the pilot series. Really cool minty berry constant. Botanical linger. Reddish peach pour. Refreshing and easy drinking g front. Soft gin and medicinal notes, but it all seems to tie together in the end. Sourness 6/10. Really unique brew. Friday, February 10, 2023

3.7 Fuggles Javaverse Draft pour enjoyed at Fuggles, Richmond. Lots of coffee and cream here, on all levels. Looks like cold coffee. Tastes like cold creamed coffee. Taste agrees as well. Flavor has a big blonde coffee flavor, which is usually what I shy away from, but it really works here. Smooth taste. Well executed vanilla coffee stout here. Friday, February 10, 2023

3.6 Fuggles Destiny IPA Draft pour enjoyed at Fuggles, Richmond. Mostly clean and bright golden pour. Dense lacing, soft head. Dank hop nose. Flavor is on the grassy hop profile, with soft interfering grains. Has a crisp front. Cool IPA with a big bite. Tasty, and original for this taplist mainstay. Friday, February 10, 2023

3.4 Fuggles Lo-Schwarz Good deeper brown body, okay foam. Nice burnt coffee, roasted barley on the nose. Taste is good roasted coffee, molasses and brown sugar, ending sweet and only slightly wet. For three percent, they're getting a lot of things right. Saturday, July 30, 2022

3.5 Fuggles Croosh Good cloudy copper body, slight pink, decent foam. Nice sweet grapefruit, slight rosiness on the nose. Taste is bitter grapefruit, slight floral notes, and lingering bitter grapefruit. I'm not a fan of the bitterness but everything else is great. Saturday, July 30, 2022

3.1 Fuggles Gaia Okay cloudy deep yellow but poured too high so there's little foam. Soft fresh peach juice on the nose, but little else. Taste is a doughy peach, soft and not too sweet. Ends refreshing with crisp carbonation, a good summer beverage. Saturday, July 30, 2022

3 Fuggles Super Sonic Strawberry Wit Nice hazy orange body and good foam. Nice strawberry on the nose, though rather sweet and seems a little fake, some good wheat character too. 4.2 Fuggles Chrono Wet Hop IPA (2020) - Centennial 2021 Edition: Fairly hazy golden coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall off-white head that fades slowly over top of the 60 per cent opaque copper glowing body. Aroma of super pungent spruce, pine, flowers, grapefruit zest and a lot of hey notes with some malts here as well in addition to some alcohol and yeast with bread as well, but the hops and would-be bitterness seem very strong. Medium-bodied; Rich bitter grapefruit, resin, pine and spruce notes dominate here with a ton of bitterness from the alpha acids with a lot of perfumey notes as well and a dash of flowers towards the end with some supportive malts and a good kick of alcohol at the end that perhaps shows more than the 6,4 per cent listed. Aftertaste shows a lot of grapefruity and piney notes with a ton of bitterness from the alpha acids with a bunch of malts supporting all the hops, but there is no real sweetness, but that's expected or even desired with the bitterness this high. Overall, a very nice real West Coast IPA that doesn't buck to new styles or new school fads - this is old school, bitter and rich with a lot of pungency - exactly what I want in an IPA and a nice first beer in Canada this time. I sampled this 650 mL bottle, purchased a few minutes ago from St. Regis Fine Wines & Spirits in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 29-June-2022 for CA$10,50 sampled in my hotel room here in central Vancouver, BC, Canada while here with my family for the first time since before March 2020! 2.4 Fuggles / Monkey 9 442 Squadron 473mL can, pours a clear dark copper with a medium white head. Nose is very earthy, with a strange herbal hop character, some boiled veggies, and spicy rye. Flavour is really not that pleasant, with astringently bitter earthy hops, spicy rye, some boiled vegetables, and a bready malt base. Really poor hop profile, with unpleasant astringency and terrible balance. This is very crappy. Friday, February 18, 2022

3.3 Fuggles Sakari Opaque sort of greyish colour. Not out of line with guava juice, but it's really not an attractive colour at all. A thin head. It's tart, a basic kettle sour but actually quite thin and a bit wonky. It definitely is not a clinical fermentation. The guava character isn't bad, though. Not strong, but sufficient.
