I smell pine, egg yolk, alcohol, strawberries, papaya, flavor starts with a fruity sweetness then the resin/pine kicks in,raspy but just barely balanced, the mouthfeel a little thin/flat. stinging finish. clear orange-yellow with a quick white head.

Drfat at Lakeside Hideaway. Amber pour, ring of head. Aroma is malty, earthy, nutty. Taste brings notes of peat to the maltiness, not too bitter, not too sweet. Well balanced.

13 oz pour on nitro, enjoyed at Elliott Bay. Jet black dense pour. Dark tan cream foam. Big espresso nose here, amd some dark chocolate. Quite a festive brew for this time of year. Flavor is layered with coffee and cream, caramel, maple. Big bitter tones throughout, with cuts the strength well. Expected this to be more of a sipper, but the silk nitro body makes this really easy to drink. Flavorful and overall an excellent brew.

North Jetty Semper Paratus Porter
Draft at Bandit Bar. Black beer with a mahogany glow and buff foam. Faintness of aromas mean they're either beguilingly sophisticated or maddeningly demure. Dark roast flavor is present but mainly eclipsed by green bitterness and a fundamental beeriness. Medium-light body and dry, but lingering resins preclude a snappy finish.

Pours a dark brown with a medium tan head that stays for a while. It has a dark roast and chocolate taste with very little bitterness and a slight sweetness. I'm sure the milk smooths out the taste. I'm not a big fan of stouts but this is very good.

North Jetty Haze-R-Dous Waters
Pours a hazy golden orange on tap with dense white foam that dissipates slowly to leave good lace. Aroma of citrus and stone fruit hop notes over raw wheat and oats. Taste is juicier than the nose, but slightly sweet from the malt, low bitterness from hops, clean and soft on the mouth. Solid, but nothing earth shattering.

Pint at Black Squid Taphouse in Lincoln City. $5 Pours a nice black body with a good sized tan head. Lace is fantastic. Aromas of semi sweet chocolate, light coconut, light coffee and cream. Taste starts sweet..then becomes bitter chocolate an coconut cream. Nice Mouth feel is thick .but the carbonation lightens it up Nice stout for $5

16 oz. can purchased from Lifesource Natural grocers in Salem OR $3.79 Didn't know this was 10% when buying. Here goes. Pours a murky dark amber coloured body with a nice tan head..frothy/creamy/rocky. Aromas of raw honey, demerara raw sugar, caramel and dark dried fuits. Taste is like the aroma but quite sweet, maybe too sweet. Mouth feel is quite heavy and carbonation low. Too sweet and heavy to drink 16 ozs to be honest

North Jetty My Kinda IPA
16 oz can from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR $3.79 Pours a semi hazed orange colour. The head is huge and beautiful Cream coloured and frothy/rocky. Despite the semi-haze the aroma is more West Coast..citrus and tropical fruit but not over the top. Taste takes another turn and goes down the more PNW dank/pine road..this is really strange! Then the citrus reappears. Mouth feel is average for style..medium..could use a tad more carbonation. A very perplexing IPA..but in the end good

North Jetty Spirit Fingers IPA
16 oz can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR $3.79 Pours a semi-hazy apricot flesh colour with a really nice large thick/bubbly off white head. Nice fruity tropical aromas..mango/papaya mainly but not overwhelming..some floral hops also. Taste similar but has a nice ( for me) bitter ending. Good , well constructed mouth feel..never gets boring or cloying. Another good beer from North Jetty

Can from Otto's. oh my, great aroma funk—citrus, sawdust, fresh green. Strong hop bitterness, pine, mellowed by the grain haze, lemon peel. mainly know it’s a hazy by the astringent mouthfeel. Would love to have this on draft. first beer I’ve had from this brewery, most impressive. Love the name. Happy to be first reviewer.

North Jetty Atlantic Wave East Coast IPA
Hazy bronze brew with a fluffy off-white head. The nose spits out a mixture of tropical fruit and bitter hop notes. The body is infused with grapefruit rind, accented by tropical fruit and an interesting and appealing minty/wintergreen character that cools the tongue. Some ripples of co-humulone make their presence known as well.

Deep scotch caramel color topped with a creamy burnt caramel head. Woody malt nose with cigar box notes along with fruit and smoke. The body feels a tad light and under-bodied, but delivers enjoyable flavors, including leather, cigar box, deep malting, and fruity smoke. A well-crafted Scottish-style ale.

North Jetty Beer With Friends IPA
32 oz. growler from Tsunami taproom in Salem OR $8 clear deep golden coloured ale with a large thick and frothy white head..leaves lashings of lace as i drink. Aromas of fruity/floral hops sharp and fresh. Taste has the fruity/floral aspect but also some of that good old fashioned PNW dank..though not a lot enough to remind you were this is brewed. Mouth feel is medium with medium carbonation with a semi-dry finish which helps in drinkability. A good regular OR/WA IPA

Had last night and found it to be very good. You could taste the hops, but the malt base showed through with a slight sweetness. The head was about a finger tall and the color was a reddish amber. Very Good for a Red ale and no real bitterness.

On tap at Proper Pint. Deep orange brown, a little dark for an IPA, and tat shows in the malt forwardness--which makes it taste more like a strong than a triple IPA--where the flavor is leather, black tea, old peach and alcohol, Aroma a little muted, with leather, molasses and spice. Some hop-malt clash in the flavor that's louder on the finish.

North Jetty Starvation Alley Weissbier
Draft at the Pickled Fish, Long Beach. Pours a cloudy medium gold with a loose white head. Mild toasty grain nose, a little kettle funkiness but not very prominent. Can’t really find the cranberries, alas. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Nicely built. Mild toasty grain and soft kettle funk on the mid palate. Still no berries. I know this cranberry company is supposed to be pretty cool, and this combination seems like a natural (though I might go with a wild cranberry ale rather than a weisse, but that’s an easy idea, not a true creative spin--the weisse seems more like a genuine creative spin). I’d like to see the flavors here a bit clearer though. Probably need to triple the poundage next time.
