Tin Dog Saison
Can labelled as "Tin Dog House Saison" Darker pour. Acetaldehyde on the nose. Spicy, peppery, easy enough to drink, nicely and abundantly carbonated. Rather in the American-interpretation-of-Saison-Dupont vein. OK.

Tin Dog Errant Whispers
What a strange beer. Tart but not full-on sour, and just massive peach flavors that make it hard to believe that, as the bottle assures you, no fruit has been added. Interesting as a novelty but ultimately not particularly drinkable.

Tin Dog Pumpkin Saison
Draft 13 oz pour to a tulip. Darker, semi cloudy orange pour. Pumpkin color I suppose. Fading head. This comes off as a true pumpkin saison. Not a whole bunch of extra stuff thrown in. Nice pumpkin flavor, maybe a touch of spice from the base style alone. Touch of a carb bite, unique taste throughout. Pretty good pumpkin brew.

Tin Dog Saison
Draft pour to a tulip at Hop and Hound, then another to follow. Strangely, I've had a few Tin Dog saisons, but never "the" Tin Dog Saison. Golden orange pour, quite cloudy. Oily active fizz head. Strong aroma of Belgian character. Leaves quite a lingering impression. Flavor has a nutty and biscuit grain combo, nutty linger for sure. Slight funk to it. Minimal. I'd call it a little tart too, after thinking about it for 20 ounces. Slightly sharp edge. Nice flavor. Enjoy this saison.

Tin Dog Pumpkin Saison
Tan-orange brew with a decent head. Nice allspice and clove (probably from the yeast) nose. On the palate this one is allspice, ginger, and pumpkin spice power over a medium-bodied malt backbone.

Tin Dog Saison On Grapes
Bomber bottle picked up a while back at Hop and Hound. A slightly cloudy golden orange pour, bright appearance, a patchy, thin oily head. Interesting brew here, and unique. With how much barrel treatment, and grape impressions there are here, it's hard to even tell what the base beer even is. Saison makes sense, as the room discusses. Who knows. Could be a golden ale. Oak constant, a mix of different grapes. A nice carb bite to this. Cool and slightly tart finish. Has a slight brett feel, despite no consideration of it being a brett beer. A very fun beer here.

Tin Dog Saison On Grapes
Bottle in Seattle. Thanks Andrew. Small head, dull orange with light cloudiness. Earthy sweet grapes on nose. Dull, waxy body with lots of white oak and vanilla. Earthy, dull aftertaste. Some tartness around edges. Not bad, but it’s a fairly low, dull flavor. Lacking brightness or clean saison character in general.

Tin Dog Apricot Thai Basil Pale Ale
Draft pour to a schooner at Tin Dog. An attractive, glowing juicy orange pour. Active fizz head. The beer is exactly what it's advertised as. Tons of fresh basil and juicy orange fruit on the nose. A nice compliment. Flavor is a little heavier on the herbal side than the fruit, but I wouldn't call either overpowering. Good flavor. Refreshing, and extra unique brew here.

Tin Dog Tropical IPA
Draft pour to a tulip at Tin Dog. A shiny golden orange pour. Surprisingly bitter IPA here, full of grapefruit peel, slight juiciness, but thin overall. Aroma is similar citrus fruit, but more intense. Almost harsh. Biting hop bitterness. Sharp taste overall. Not as smooth as I would typically like to see out of an IPA, but this was unique and overall enjoyable.

Tin Dog Anniversary Saison
Draft pour to a schooner at Tin Dog. A mostly clean, pale golden pour. Active fizz head. A slightly tart indication garoma. Tart citrus, slight funk. Flavor has a distinct berry, as advertised to be from the hops, but incredibly precise. White grape, a touch of spice. Like there is a touch of rye in this one almost. A wine like late linger. Interesting brew.

Tin Dog Lemon Sage Wit
Copper-blonde body covered with a light creamy head. The bouquet is a lovely, earthy sage that is lemon-kissed. Similarly, the body is of earthy sage and fresh lemon essence. Full, wheaty body despite the low ABV. Lovely Wit--grabbed a growler.

Tin Dog Imperial Winter Saison

Red amber color with no head. It has the sweet and fruity mellow character of the Saison yeast used in the US, lightly vinous, concealing the alcohol.
Very cloying.

Tin Dog Imperial Winter Saison
Maroon-amber body with little carbonation. Spicy gum drop nose with some clovey and candi malt notes and a breeze of wheat. The body strikes a similar chord with some clovey phenol and candi malt notes distinctly present along with a light vein of wheatiness. Notes of cherry cough syrup arise as well.

Tin Dog Black Ale
On tap at Tin Dog, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a reddish rings and a small beige head. Aroma is quite earthy, with Belgian yeast and earthy notes. Flavour is quite earthy, with filthy astringent earthiness upfront and medium Belgian yeast. Quite dirty, but it works well enough. An earthy black saison that has some flaws but is decent.

On tap at Tin Dog, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of Belgian yeast, some light farmhouse notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with farmhouse yeast and biscuity malt. Pretty ordinary and restrained, but not really authentic. Nothing special.

Tin Dog Imperial Winter Saison
On tap at Tin Dog, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of red fruitiness, some candied sugar and light spiciness from the Belgian yeast. Flavour is much the same, but kind of off-putting, with cherry-like cough syrup, candied sugar and a hint of the Belgian yeast. It’s mostly the cherry medicinal notes. Not good.

Tin Dog Pater Beer
Light salmon-beige color, not much head or carbonation. Nice easy pale malt aroma with a gentle shimmering of phenols--primarily clove. Wet pale malt and easy phenolic body. Clove is more emphatic than banana, and it is complemented by a puff of cocoa.

Taste is clean smooth crystal malt, light juicy orange and lemon citrus, banana and light clove notes from the yeast, then an incredibly clean finish. Great take on the saison. Very drinkable.

Tin Dog NW Pale
Draft 12 oz pour at the brewery. Rating from notes 8/22/15. Pours a beautiful orange copper color with a very active fizz head. Nice hop forward aroma. Flavor comes off a bit funky. Talking to the brewers, they say this is one of their only, non-belgian inspired beers, but I politely disagree. Hop finish, and hints of funk. Interesting pale.

Tin Dog Dubbel
Schooner at brewery. Clear darkish copper, not much head. Amazingly not estery nose, sweet but appropriately, very earthy sweet with some can’t dark banana. A little grapey. Really enjoy it. Flavor is clean malts with light sweetness that dies into a dry earthy finish. Maybe its because I have been drinking crappy but I really like it.

Beautiful, pulpy apricot body adorned with a nice cream head. Lovely dose of full, thick apricot in the bouquet, perhaps a hint of basil and some greenness. Full-bodied apricot on the palate--again, with very muted, almost imperceptible basil--just a hit of greenness on the finish.

Tin Dog Dubbel
Copper body with a creamy head. Nice caramel flavor, a touch of corn, but nice and balanced, despite the absence of detectable hopping. The body is again of a pleasant caramel / cara-malt nose. Solid stuff for a fresh Dubbel. Only lacking some of the desirable depth one would get from aging.

Tin Dog Too Wit
Uncharacteristically bronze body for a wit, but topped by a nice head. Distinct orange aroma with an appreciable coriander underpinning. Citrusy and juicy aroma with bready, wheaty, and banana notes emerging after a few minutes of aeration. The body has strong orange accents, with some banana funk and breadyness on the finish. A bit heavyhanded, but ok on the whole.

Bronze body, decent head. Dank, beery aroma, not much hops and the body exhibits a similar profile. Perhaps more of an English-style take. Rather nondescript.
