Metalchopz	3.6 Refined Fool Hat Day is Cancelled Part of their IPA Fun Box 8th Edition. Pours a hazy golden colour with an amber hue. A warm off-white head, decent stay and patches of lacing left. Grapefruit zest aromas with some mango notes, alcohol and hints of wax-oat coming out a little later. The alcohol calms a little down in the taste, but still shows up lingering in the after-finish. Particles do come out at last pour. Tangerine-citrusy flavours a touch lighter. Still, a refreshing citrusy IPA, just a tad alcoholic. Monday, April 29, 2024

Sweet flavour of bready wheat malt, orange, cantaloupe, pineapple, peach, coconut, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Metalchopz	3.6 Refined Fool Help Yourself to My Parent’s Wardrobe Lightly hazed, golden colour with a bunch of particles floating through it. A white frothy cap, good stay and some foamy lacing clouds. Fresh aromas of raspberries, citrusy IPA hops and hints of vanilla. The taste shows the fruitiness, but not overly sweet, nor lasting. Again, refreshing between the raspberry and citrus hops of the IPA. The lactose and vanilla is very mild here. An interesting, easy-drinking Smoothie IPA. Saturday, February 3, 2024

Lemon zest aromas with a touch of orange juice, and fresh herbal notes, even some mint. The taste shows again more lemon notes with the peel and a tad sourness, A mild dry finish Some particles show up as it pours. Feels like a milder, hazy IPA that fits the Monday bill. jksipa	3.4 Refined Fool Fat Baby Can from the LCBO. Very lightly hazed medium copper with a large cream coloured head that fades slowly and leaves stringy lace. Nose is bread, resin, citrus peel, grass and a bit of funk, though all a bit more subdued than "continuous" hopping would make you expect. Lost of citrus in the nose, as expecting full melon - but no, hints of it. Same for the taste, a touch more, but just that wet, refreshiness summer feel. Mostly citrusy. Metalchopz	3.7 Refined Fool Nothing to See Here Part of their 7th Edition IPA Fun Box. Pours a hazy golden colour with an amber hue. The head is big, frothy, kind of creamy, white, very long lasting and leaving some nice thick-foamy lacing. Hop particles fall to the bottom of the glass. Fresh tropical fruit aromas with a herbal touch that is blending well with the citrusy hops. The mouthfeel is wet, juicy with not a big drying finish, but not too thick as well. The taste is tamer, but still has lots of fruits, orange juice base with a tad grassiness. An easy-drinking East Coast IPA that is just that. Thursday, November 30, 2023
