Reclamation The Double
Again a clear sewer not in fragrance and finish, I real shame. Maybe the lines, maybe the glasses but this was not good and this off note was most pronounced in the DIPA, which is my favorite style.

Reclamation Everyman's Red Ale
Of all the beers I tried this was the best of a poor bunch, closest to style without too many off notes, still there was a note that can only be described as sewer. I really hope they can improve with time.

Reclamation Promised Land Imperial Ale
Pours a deep orangish brown with a thin white ring. Not much of an aroma. Lightly sweet taste from the orange blossom honey with a flowery finish and aftertaste. Fairly plain and ordinary and not that enjoyable.

Reclamation Indomitable
I have not figured out why ratebeerians love barrel aged beer. If you want whiskey, drink it, if you want beer, drink it, why flavor beer with a whiskey barrel? BTW imperial stout is not my thing either so if you like impy stout, flip my numbers and get this, it’s unusually on terrible style. Big & black. Big choco moose head. Whisky is palatably present all over. Mouth coating impy stout, kicks you in the jaw. Volatile. Way too much for this lager lover. Just way too much. I detect a tad of tartness but that may be my mind going dizzy towards the end of this glass, whew. Nasty nellie rototiller smack you in the face right here on route 8!

Reclamation Sweet Christmas!
Look, I’m not a fan of spiced holiday brews but if you are, you must try this. Reddish orange & pale. Barely any nose, surprising since it is so spiced up. Taste is quite sweet and the spices are not over the top and in yer face. However, they are certainl present as they override the beer characters. Some decent co2 and the spices become a little volatile in the middle. Just can’t get used to this style but I thought i’d give it a try anyhow. Yes, better than the average holiday brew.

Reclamation Curtain Call
Look, I’m not a fan of IPA, so flip my numbers if you are. Pale clear beer. Perhaps there is a tad of orange in the eye as well. Ever so slight hop perfume nose. Yes, typical IPA. Hoppy with an inclination of of bitter hops abound. Belgian infrequence is hard to detect, simply a terribly on style IPA. Quite fresh. Fairly flat.

Reclamation Smokey Maple Porter
Tap at the source. Aesthetics is big & black and large & in-charge. Slight sweet maple syrup nose. Mild stout aromas as well. First taste is a little bit of smoked beer. Maple is quite apparent on the first taste, seems to have lots of unfermented sugar in there. This is all on a backbone of old damp partially burned campfire wood. Somewhat volatile in the middle. Not bad overall but the maple sweetness almost makes it a little cloying, but never quite gets there.

Reclamation Kolsch
Tap at source. Slight haze on a pale beer. Hay flavors from the start. Not bad! Easy to take, a very mild brew that hides its alky content rather well. Some citrus but not bitter. Friendly and easy going, could drink a few of these. Good manners and a clean fresh beery aroma.

Reclamation Valley of the Dry Bones
Bocktown tap. Cloudy pale cider. I think I detect an every so slight hint of cinnamon on top of the tart apple nose. Good tart initial feel on this one. Much better than my own home brewed dry cider. even tho its fermented out without much if any sugar left, this stuff really comes across enjoyable with a nice tart, perhaps granny smith, tartness. A real example of what a balanced dry cider should be. Good job!

Reclamation Promised Land Imperial Ale
on tap @ Reclamation / Butler PA --- Cloudy medium / light amber, off-white head, strips of lace. Taste is caramel malt that moves through crisp carbonation to light hops. The carbonation provides edginess, but the rest moves smoothly from one thing to the next. The alcohol is muted.

Reclamation Egan's Irish Stout
on tap @ Reclamation / Butler PA --- Aroma of malt. Opaque black with a tan head that sinks to a full rim, sheets of lace. Taste is light malt that cruises through light fizz to a finish that introduces an odd nut flavor. The end is stronger than the beginning, and moves away from what is otherwise a solid Stout.

Reclamation The Double
Draft at the Brewpub This was the best of four tasted. The ale poured a clear amber color with a small head . The Double had special lacing down the glass. The ale has nice hop bitterness on the tongue. The medium body ale has average carbonation. Another ale that warms to you as you consume the beer. if I wasn’t driving I would had another.

Reclamation Promised Land Imperial Ale
Draft at the brewpub in Butler. The ale poured a clear amber color with a small head and lacing. The ale had a medium body with soft carbonation. The 8% ABV was very deceptive. This ale does warm up to you as you consume the beverage. It was the surprise of the 4 beers tasted. You detect apples in the taste.

Medium golden-amber clear with light haze, topped with creamy-foamy white lacing head. Medium body with medium-heavy carbonation. Reclamation Lime Goes-Uh
Sampled at the brewery. Nose of lime and salt, but combination comes off as goaty and even vomitous. Clear pale straw with thin white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Big immediate hit of lime juice and salt ... drop in a shot of tequila and you’d have a margarita. Decent acidity, with carbonic tang. Citrusy tart lime finish with a salty-sweet key lime after.
