andrewje41	4 Buoy Double IPA 12 oz can poured, from Kroger. Clean penny copper appearance, loose foam head. Really nice citrus and floral hop combo here. Aroma is well balanced with pine, grapefruit, and caramel malts. Flavor bites like an imperial, but isn't overly aggressive. Soft tropical and citrus fruit notes round our an otherwise piney bitterness. Constant caramel malt background. Flavorful and delicious double IPA. Love to see that you can still find high quality, non hazy double IPAs in 6 packs for 10-12 bucks. One of the better ones in my locals current grocery aisle lineup. Very good. Tuesday, April 9, 2024

Reid	4 Buoy West Coast IPA 12 oz can from Safeway in West Salem OR. $10.00 a sixer. Pours the expected light copper/orange body. Crystal clear, with a large frothy white head. Generous lace thereafter. Aromas of pine and floral hope. Right in your face. Strong. Taste the same. Maybe with a particle of citrus. Nice mouth feels thick to medium but well carbonated. Each sip invites another. Pretty darned good, but they have tough competition in Oregon for sure. Saturday, February 10, 2024

neepsntatties	4 Buoy Easy IPA Can. Colour….clear light gold with a thick head. Nose…nice balance of piney and tropically fruity hops, with just a titch of dankness. Palate….clean, delightfully lightly hoppy with mango, underripe pear, star fruit and lemongrass. This is neither really dry nor the opposite. It’s neither too hoppy nor meh. It has a fair amount of carbonation which helps bring out the hop flavor, which is lemongrass, the aroma is the same with light malts. Overall is a nice light beer with a good taste. The aroma is light malt and floral hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium. The taste is light biscuity malt and a mild bitterness all the way through. The taste is citrus and melon with a nice hop bite that is not too strong, though the hop flavor is a little strong for a Pale Ale ( NW flavor?). Very refreshing and goes well with food. fiulijn	3.5 Buoy Double IPA Can from Community Food Co-op, Bellingham; 8.7% ABV; packaged in February but with a marker's line on the year, hence it's less than 2 months old, or more than 1 year old Dark blond colour, slightly hazy. The aroma seems light. The body is there, with some residual sweetness; flavour of biscuity malt, caramel, pleasant; bold bitterness, some hop resins, but leading to some pith in the finish, that gets more and more aggressive. Reid	3.8 Buoy Czech Dark Lager 16 oz can , part of a 4 pack, purchased from American market on State Street Salem Oregon $10.99 Pours a very dark brown, Coca-Cola colored body with a terrific thick and creamy light tan head.. great looking beer in the mug! Dark bready tones to the aroma. Like English style malt loaf. But not sweet.Some light chocolate tones also. Light. Nice. Taste the same and more..has this creamy aftertaste that just makes the beer "pop". Soft brown malt bread, cream and light molasses. Delicious stuff. Mouth feel is OK but could use a wee bit more carbonation. A really nice simple beer. Seeing more dark Czech lagers in the PNW and liking it. Saturday, March 18, 2023
