3.3 Bernoville Bière de Noël Small white head over clear golden beer. Slightly milky-lactic nose, milkripe grain, garden weeds. Faintly toasted, very grainy flavour, pilsner malt. Lighter bodied, but slighlty viscous, and very slick. Probably fuller bodied than it feels. Not bad, really, but a pale pilsner-like Christmas ale? That’s the way we got Stella Artois, and that isn’t a reference... Monday, July 2, 2012 | |
