Taste is sweetish, malt, corn grain, with hay, straw and grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, light carbonation, light bitter finish. OK, standard lager. Sunday, September 24, 2023
Grumbo	2.4 Mosi Lager 16/8/2023. Bottle courtesy of Gus, cheers! Pours clear pale golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruits. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. JorisPPattyn	2 Mosi Lager I Quite aged sample /I Transparant bubbles over absolutely still beer, clear gold. Madeira, portwine, sweet grains, oxydation. Old wine, completely diluted; not much oxydation but a slightly fruity hint, even almost sourish. Empty MF, still. Old rating from 1996 - one of several bottles enjoyed in a hotel on the Zambian side of the falls on a hot afternoon, pours golden with a tiny head. Aromas & tastes of grain, corn, herbs & malt. Mais (?) on peut aussi écouter un peu de musique, par exemple Three of me, un band du Portugal, juste à côté de la Zambie … par Angola interposé .. (!!) Dry, crisp finish with lingering light bitterness. Clean. Mouthfeel: Slight carbonic sting. Light body. High carbonation. Overall: Crisp, refreshing. Tott	2.9 Mosi Lager So far the best beer in zambia. Had this in ndola july 2015. What means fresh from the brewery as it gets produced here. Aroma: bit malty bit hops, some sweetness. Light in colour and Foam was good. Taste: maize and sugar is used for brewing it which explains the bit watery/empty taste. with slight malt and caramel flavours. Bitterness not strong. Clear light yellow color, assertive adjunct nose, initial watery mouthfeel gives way to tartness, slight astringency. Quite a lot of adjuncts evident. Drinkable and certainly better than the crap this megabrewery puts out with the Miller name on it but not worth going out of your way for unless you want the tick for the country. Sweeter malt character followed by some herby hops. Light-medium body with a thin mouthfeel and active carbonation. Overall, more African schwill.
