Svesse	3.3 Reichenbrander Dunkel (Draught at Lager Lager, Berlin, 22 Apr 2023) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, raisins, prunes and toast. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark bread, caramel, raisins, prunes and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced dunkel. Quite nice. Moravius	3.3 Reichenbrander Red Ale Anno 1874 "Reichenbrander Red Ale Anno 1874", Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Dunkles Kupferrotgold, fast klar. - In der Nase sehr aromatischer exotischer Hopfen, herbe Zitrusfrucht, Tabak, Kiefernharz. - Antrunk tief toastmalzig und kräftig aber ein wenig hart hopfenherb: Grapefruit, Harz, dezentes Trockenobst. Die leichte Karamelsüße wird von der wuchtigen herbalen Hopfenherbe erschlagen. Durchschnittlich rezent. Langer bitterer Nachtrunk. - Solides Red Ale, kernig gehopft und nur dezent obergärig. PorterPounder	3.2 Reichenbrander Heller Bock 10/23/18 - Tallahassee, Fl - flight at Growler Country. Sparkling, medium copper, light off-white head. Aroma is decidely sweet, dates and just a hint of diacytl butterscotch. Flavor runs along the same lines, sweet with some molasses and baked brown bread. Belly sticking mouthfeel. Slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of Blockmalz/caramel, very subtle hints of dried fruits, also a whiff of oxidation and herbal hoppy spice. Bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Initially slim toast-malty taste with caramel, backed by delicately fruity and mildly herbal-spicy hops, lingering into the bitter-sweet and slightly fruity finish. Slightly yeasty, biscuity malty and slightly wheaty aroma with notes of caramel, fruity hints of banana and citrus. Mildly sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Wheaty and cara-malty taste with moderately banana-fruity notes and a whiff of citrus, hints of caramel far in the background; moderately sweet and delicately sour-tart finish. Mildly roasted malty aroma, slightly ashy with nutty spots, hints of bread crusts and a whiff of chocolate. Slightly roasty bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. CanIHave4Beers	3.5 Reichenbrander Kellerbier Bottle, courtesy of a kind soul... shared in a location remote of my dining room. Pours very pale with a nice head and decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is sweet dough & a light lemony sort of thing. It’s rustic, a little dank, but still has some zippiness of herbal hops in the bouquet. The flavor is nicely bitter and has some lemon zest & herbal character. It’s a little sweet and doughy with a light minerallity and an enjoyable lingering bitterness in the finish. I wish it were a touch drier, but it’s enjoyable beer. Monday, February 9, 2015
Chopper925	2.5 Reichenbrander Festbier Bottle. Clear light yellow color, lacing, lingering white head. Aroma of cardboard, floral, grass notes. Dry taste, extreme harsh bitterness. Leaves a metallic bitter taste, which intensifies with time, somewhat malty. The bitterness lies on the tongue and goes over to something metallic, not so nice. Medium texture, fresh carbonation. What´s the aim of this beer? Beeing extremely bitter hopped? Also the aftertaste is a bit strange, I think a bit wheat would have helped this beer, or some roasted barley. Thursday, January 15, 2015
