3.3 Longshore Phish Taile Paile Aile 12 oz. bottle. One of the early micro breweries on Long Island. Unfortunately, this one didn’t make it. According to my notes, this beer poured reddish gold with a moderate off-white head that lasted through about half the glass. Floral aroma. Robust combination of floral hops and slightly sweet malt definitely gets your attention. Wish there were more of these on the shelves to sample. Sunday, March 5, 2006

4 Longshore Lager This beer deserves some credit. It's partially cloudy and has considerable color. Massive flavor for a lager, yet mild enough to be consumed in quantity. Nice aroma, too. The Saaz is muted but the Munich malt is clearly present. Tuesday, February 11, 2003

2.8 Longshore Wampum Wheat Not really too wheaty, but that's sort of the way American Wheats tend to be, so you can't really dock them points for that. Better as it warms, with a watery, crisp flavor that hints at wheat without really delivering. A tad sour? Sunday, September 8, 2002
