Schlenkerla29	2.9 Hoepfner Schwarzer Picher Dankbarerweise wird auch eine Erklärung des ungewöhnlichen Namens mitgeliefert: „Pichen“ nannte man einst das Abdichten der Holzfässer, in denen das Bier seinerzeit noch gelagert wurde, mit Pech. Tiefes Kastanienbraun und reichlich beigefarbener Schaum, der jedoch vorschnell das Feld räumt, sind die optischen Charakteristika des Schwarzen Pichers. Er riecht mild karamellsüß, die schwarzbierüblichen Röstaromen und der feine Hopfenduft zeigen sich nur schemenhaft. Der weiche Antrunk erweist sich als sehr mild und karamellsüß. Dabei ist bedauerlicherweise nur ein Hauch von Röstaromen, welche an Nuss denken lassen, feststellbar. Bei ausgesprochen milder Rezenz wirkt es schlank und sehr weich. Hopfige Momente bleiben auch im süßlichen Abgang aus. Letztlich ein sehr mildes, weiches Dunkles, dem es als ausgewiesenes Schwarzbier eindeutig an Hopfen- und Röstmalzeinfluss mangelt. tontalus	3.5 Hoepfner Pilsner Ich habe das Hoepfner Pilsner vor mir. Pils ist ja nicht so meine Biersorte aber vielleicht wird es ja super. Der Geruch ist überraschend wenig hopfig ohne Bitterkeit. Ich habe brotige, getreidige Malznoten in der Nase. Der mittelporige Schaum fällt bis auf eine geringe Decke zusammen. Das Bier ist goldgelb und klar - typisch für den Bierstil. Beim Antrunk kommt ein zurückhaltender, flacher Malzkörper ohne Fehlnoten und wenig Vollmundigkeit. Beim Abgang dann wieder zurückhaltende Hopfenbitterkeit, ebenso glatt und kongruent langweilig zum Antrunk (das wollte ich bei Pils schon lange mal schreiben!!). Für Fans sicher handwerklich super und Tendenz zu ein paar davon am Abend, . Für mich ein weiterer seelenloser Eintrag in der Datenbank. 02-2019 Sunday, December 25, 2022
