Green Flash Tangerine Soul Style IPA
Bottle at home. Aroma is juicy citrus fruits, sharply zesty orange peel, loads of tangerine, fruity hops, touch of grapefruit, candied fruit. Flavour is light sweet with a long hoppy citrus peel bitterness in the aftertaste. Body is medium. I love citrus in my IPA, this one is quite intense, but also a bit artificial and candied. Interesting and enjoyable, though I could not imagine drinking two or three pints of this stuff, the insane citrus flavour would become a bit too much.

Green Flash Styrian Golding Single Hop Pale Ale
Pours a clear golden-yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is marked by citrus and herbal notes. Flavor is very dry, with some citrus and some hop bite. Kind of a weird overall taste to it--not sure this variety of hops is one of my favorites based on this tasting experience.

Green Flash Tangerine Soul Style IPA
Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Nose of citrus zest, fresh and sort of aerosol-like feeling. Slightly hazy deep amber/orange color. Citrus zest, peppery hopping, mild caramel, sweey juicy orange/tangerine fruitiness, and mild bitter tracks. Thin-medium body. Tangerine, for sure. Interesting for a few sips. The tangerine and zestiness are kind of overdone.

Green Flash Jibe Session IPA
12oz can from GT Package in Grovetown. Pale orange pour with a white head. Aroma has citrus and pine and light caramel. Taste is of tangy pine, grapefruit and lemon zest, light caramel and some resin. Blend is decent but not great, there is little alcohol presence and it is medium bodied. Quite solid actually for a session. Finishes tangy and bittersweet. Solid offering for style. Better nose than expected. 13.4

Green Flash Jibe Session IPA
Can at home in London - picked up at the Hop Locker. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Lightly faded piney hops in the aroma, some pale and crackery malts, pine needles, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with more crackers, white bread crust, citrus peel, pine needles, faint melon and grapefruit pith. Light bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat drying on the finish, with moderate rindy bitterness, more crackers, subtle grapefruit. Well, not surprisingly, here we have another hoppy US beer that is past its prime. It is still enjoyable, but it is not how it should be.

Green Flash Styrian Golding Single Hop Pale Ale
Deep slightly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a rich, three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of hops, earth, caramel, toffee, deep fruits and a bit of citrus at the tail end - but overall, pretty earthy. Medium-bodied; Assertive toffee and caramelised sugar flavour at first with a lot of pungent medicinal and sticky grain and grassy flavours coupled with a rather caramel and biscuity malt flavour. Aftertaste is fairly muted with the caramel, toffee and grain coming through, but little else. Overall, a pretty mellow and understated beer, that does decently well, but there is nothing in here that makes this a great or even good beer. That said, I donít care too much for Styrian Goldings and will probably avoid them in the future! I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 08-June-2016 for US$2,29 sampled at home in Washington on 25-July-2016.

Drinkable passion fruit beer. Stays true to the nature of the fruit being slightly tart. But it somehow also seems uninspired. Itís a passable fruit beer and thatís about it.

750 ml bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a hazy pink grapefruit with a white head of foam. The aroma has plum skins, cranberry, funky citrus. Mildly tart and refreshing. Spritzy carbonation. Reminds me of a berry sprite. Fairly citrusy. Medium body and high carbonation. Really nice stuff.

Green Flash Dia De Los Serranos
2015 BJCP Category: 30A Spice/Herb/Vegetable (base brew: 20C Imperial Stout)

AROMA: Surprisingly mild nose; slight coffee; spice rack seasonings. Not fresh pepper. 7/12

APPEARANCE: Jet black; large dark tan froth. Plenty of lacing. 3/3

FLAVOR: Fairly sweet imperial stout base. Plenty of dark malt; slightly roasty; more like dark chocolate. Minor dark roast coffee in the background. Little hop character. Strong warming sensation in the throat from the serranos. Lingering earthy flavor. Well balanced overall, though not amazing. 14/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-full body; smooth texure; medium-low CO2. No alcohol presence (heat from peppers probably overrides alcohol). 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: A fine imperial stout with strong pepper presence. Probably better paired with food rather than drank by itself. 7/10

TOTAL SCORE: 35/50

Can from Deguchiya. Pours a hazy, slightly cloudy pale gold with 2 fingers of rocky foam. Bready and biscuity malt aromas with some light mineral notes. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with malt flavors dominating, but a bit of mint and light mineral notes toward through the finish. Very nice on a picnic paired with some onigiri.

Green Flash Cosmic Ristretto Black Lager
22 ounce bottle into snifter, best before 8/25/2016. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big nutty dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted dark bread; with lighter notes of raisin, plum, currant, vanilla, smoke, char, herbal, wood, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big nutty dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted dark bread; with lighter notes of raisin, plum, currant, vanilla, smoke, char, herbal, wood, and roast/toasted earthiness. Moderate roast and herbal hop bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, herbal, wood, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from hop/roast bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy, and fairly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding Baltic porter! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.
