BlackBeerPG	3.9 Emmetts Copious Lupulus Taste: Semi sweet note of stone fruit/Apricot, some tropical hops, malty backbone, smooth and dry finish. Same with the nose. Honey colored hue, unfiltered/hazy, tan head with rings of lattice. medium body. Gentle bitterness that makes this a balanced drinker. Tuesday, April 23, 2024
BlackBeerPG	4.3 Emmetts Competition Stout - Barrel Aged Taste: silky smooth, dark chocolate and toffee notes, roasted coffee, nutty, semi sweet, earthy, some bourbon. Same this the nose. Black, opaque, Tan nitro head with nice lattice. Medium to med/full body. All flavors play well together, Some bitter notes do tame the sweetness at bit. Friday, January 26, 2024
BlackBeerPG	3.3 Emmetts Cryo Gunner Taste: hops are a combo of wet and dry hops, crisp, bitter, piney, tropical hops, some dank notes. Dry hopped spicy nose. Golden hue, crystal clear, with white head and some lace on the glass. Medium body. Hop heads may revel in this Lager that is hopped up. Friday, January 26, 2024

Black hue, opaque, tan refined head with nice lattice. Full body. This is a blend of stout porter and barley-wine barrel aged. Tuesday, October 24, 2023

Black, opaque, tan head, broken lace. Medium/full body. Oaked barrels, and toffee like notes, Monday, July 10, 2023

BlackBeerPG	4.4 Emmetts BMD 2022 Taste: rich toasted smokey malts, smooth, toasted coffee, toffee, sweet and deep. Cocoa sweet, smoked, coffee nose. Black/brown hue, mostly opaque, tan head and lace. Medium/full body. Notes of chocolate and tobacco make it rich. Sunday, June 25, 2023
BlackBeerPG	3.6 Emmetts A-10 Warthog Taste: Complex, spiced bread, some varied gentle hops with malt backbone. Dry hopped and malt nose. Warm Honey colored hue, clear, delicate head with a broken lace. Liked this IPA, it has a kick as well. Sunday, June 25, 2023

BlackBeerPG	4.1 Emmetts Double Talk Taste: Smooth, rich, sweet, malty, caramel, balanced out by gentle hops. Malt, bread, herbal hopped nose. Copper hue, clear, with tall refined foamy head and nice lattice. Medium body. The malty backbone makes this 2XIPA very easy to drink. Friday, May 5, 2023

DrnkMcDermott	3.6 Emmetts Choco Chili Taster glass. Black with highlights, thin ring of foam. Nose of cocoa and poblano. The first taste has more of a green chili note, and leaves a nice strong chili burn. That makes it hard to find any chocolate taste, ,aybe it's part of the overall sweetness. But then a cocoa after taste arrives at the end. Friday, April 14, 2023
DrnkMcDermott	3.8 Emmetts A-10 Warthog 4th of 5 tasters, still displaying a nice layer of foam. Light amber body. As with most Emmett's beers, it's filtered to within an inch of its life. Some grassy hop note, and a small bit of fruit. Drinking this leaves a solid wall of lace around the glass. A thick mouthfeel with familiar American Pale hop taste, and a nice alcohol note. Not overly hopped like many DIPAs. Friday, April 14, 2023
DrnkMcDermott	3.4 Emmetts Defiance Irish Red Ale Taster glass. Light amber color, thin ring of foam at the edge. Slight smoky and roasty nose. But then the taste has the kind of peaty note of earthy English hops. Foam leaves a bit of lace down the glass. Asian, slightly smoky, even a bit of tropical fruit, but just slightly there. DrnkMcDermott	3.6 Emmetts BMD 2022 Tap at Emmett's Downers Grove. Pretty tall glass for a barley wine. Deep brown with a thin layer of brown foam. Nice nose of alcohol and malts. Wants to give impression of chocolate roast malt, but it's a rather light taste for that. Since I'm so used to strong BA Stouts, the lighter mouthfeel here is kind of a surprise. Maybe it detracts a little bit. Even could be said to be a bit watery. Some vanilla, maybe a bit of cinnamon, and a slight roast that comes up slowly. Friday, September 16, 2022
Ratman197	3.9 Emmetts Russian Imperial Stout Bottle poured a çlear dark reddish brown with a small lasting creamy brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, coffee and a hint if licorice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, light coffee and a hint of dried fruit with a smooth dry lingering roasty bitter chocolate finish. Ratman197	3.5 Emmetts Hop Sludge Bottle poured a çlear golden amber with a lasting creamy off white head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness, pine and mustiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, mustiness, pine, earthiness and a hint of fruitiness with a crisp dry bitter lingering musty finish. Monday, May 9, 2022

Scipio	3.4 Emmetts Blitzkrieg German Altbier Pours a deep amber with a medium beige head. A mild aroma finds toasted malt, caramel, bread, and raisin. The flavors are well balanced. Still toasted, there are nuts, bread, caramel, yeast, raisin, and subtle spice. Its sweet, but not overly so. Average bitterness and a nutty finish. Light to medium in body and slightly chewy in texture. Not bad. Thursday, August 12, 2021
