I was tolde there was something funny with the tap, so the beer was a flat but was still pretty tasty. Some fruity malts to it with a nice hop finish.

Deep golden color out of the growler. Frothy, egg-shell color head that left some lacing. It was a little flat on the tongue, but it was a shipped growler, so I am attributing that minor palate issue to shipping. Body is a little thin, but has nice fruity apple/ apricot malt notes and a nice hop bitterness in the finish. Solid session ale, but nothing remarkable. I killed the entire growler sitting here chatting with Ratebeer folks. Thanks to slikwily for the sample.

Nice amber color, small off white head that faded quickly after it was tapped. The aroma was hoppy a bit floral with a hint of fruit coming through a slight citrus maybe. The flavor nothing real special but decent with a light malt side sort of a mild bitter sweet thing going on in there with a mild hop presence.A bit thin bodied but over all a good brew for a once in awhile kind of deal. It’s worth checking out if you can. Rerate:Different batch this time that seemed to be a little better then the first time i had it.Little stronger Hop presence with a nicer bitterness but still it is not much more then run of the mill for the style. An extra point in the flavor column for the effort.

Growler, courtesy of the kindness of a coworker... Hazy copper in color. Faintly hoppy, slightly cheesy nose. Yeasty. Appley and fruity. (some acetaldehyde) Flinty water character, off-dry finish. Hops are subdued and in the background. Quite passable, especially for the only functioning brewery in the state of North Dakota.

This one starts off OK with a dark red to black appearance. Spongy off-white head with good lacing. Has a bit of a sweet chocolate aroma. Palate - a bit watery and a strange mouthfeel as if it was from a powdered drink mix. Does not completely ruin it though - still drinkable.

Light copper color in appearance and sports a nice thick white head with good lacing. Has a faint malty aroma. Flavor has a bit of a hoppy bite to it. Very refreshing - especially after driving across western North Dakota. Not bad at all for a brewpub in a tiny town in North Dakota.
