Martinsh	3.4 Leatherbritches Berry Dangerous Cask at Victoria, Derby. Pours a dark burgundy with minimal tan head. There’s roasted malts nd raspberries in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and watery, but fruitiness quickly makes itself evident. Flavour of raspberries and summer fruits at the start, and later some old English spangles and hints of nuts and humbug. Finish is fruity and slightly bitter. This is quite nice – but doesn’t have much porter characteristic. Wednesday, May 1, 2024

ladnewton	3.6 Leatherbritches Scoundrel Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 2nd March 2024. Deep brown with pale tan foam and full lacing. Toffee malt aroma with latent fruitiness. Pungent and malty in-mouth, and a rich, malt and spicy finish. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Sunday, March 10, 2024
imdownthepub	3 Leatherbritches The Bounder Cask conditioned at the Victoria Inn, Derby. Pale yellow gold with white head. Grainy, cereal notes to the fore with this followed by a thinnish citrus flavour. Lemon, lime hints, some caramel, some bitterness. It's okay. Saturday, March 2, 2024
imdownthepub	3.5 Leatherbritches The Mad Brewer ExperiMental Cask conditioned at the Victoria Inn, Derby. Hazy gold with white head. This proved to be quite a light beer from the off, tangy, citrusy notes, orange pith and zest. A really pleasant use of English hops and enjoyabel. Saturday, March 2, 2024

jjsint	3.5 Leatherbritches The Mad Road Handpull cask at the Ale Stone, Aylestone. Dark gold, clear with a small white head and generous lacing. Aroma of mown grass, cherry candy, orange peel. Sweet taste with fruity notes, bubblegum. Slight chalky bitterness nearer the end but this is a very sweet beer. Slightly oily body, soft to nil carbonation. Quite nice. Wednesday, December 27, 2023
jjsint	3.8 Leatherbritches Bad Santa Handpull cask at the Ale Stone, Aylestone. Pours a deep dark mahogany, a little translucent with a small beige head. Delicious malty aroma, fresh cherries, stone fruit, light earthy character. Gorgeous sweet taste, resplendent with black cherry. Bitterness in the back of the sip providing less of a balance and more of a change of character. Light body with soft carbonation. A revelation. Saturday, December 23, 2023
jjsint	3.3 Leatherbritches Elf on a Shelf Handpull cask (with sparkler) at the Ale Stone, Aylestone. Light to medium gold and clear with a small tight white head. Light grassy notes, hay and a little bit of buttered toast in the aroma. Sweet taste just at first, changing to a tenacious bitterness to the finish. Big bitterness and a cavalcade of English hop in the finish. Soft carbonation. A fair bit of character in this little beer, even if it isn't quite my cup of tea. Thursday, December 21, 2023

Rune	3.4 Leatherbritches Scoundrel Cask ale at Pineapple. Kindly shared by Leif. Tiny off-white head over a ruby-black body, clingy lacing. Promising aromas of dark malts and dark fruits. Comprehensive taste character, impacts of berry-fruits, biscuit, and chocolate malts. Smoothly roasted finish. A bit thin on the swallow. Likeable. (Kentish Town, London 06.12.2023). Grumbo	3 Leatherbritches Bad Boy 24-27/10/2023. From cask at the 45th Norwich Beer Festival. Pours slightly hazy pale golden brown with a small frothy white head. Aroma is husky, citrus, earthy, malt, straw. Moderate sweetness, medium developing bitterness. Moderate body, quite lively. Increasing dry and bittersweet finish. Fair. Wednesday, November 15, 2023
Martinsh	2.9 Leatherbritches The Bounder Cask at Victoria Inn, Derby. Pours a hazy pale straw with minimal white head and good lacing. There’s some light floral hops in the aroma plus hints of generic citrus. In the mouth there is a slight sweetness initially before sharpness of mixed hops comes through. Flavour has caramel and grains too plus some hints of berry fruits. Not bad – just a little dull. Sunday, November 5, 2023

Aroma and taste seemed to have Rye like esters and flavours in them, certainly dry feel to it from start to finish. Sunday, October 1, 2023

jmgreenuk	3.3 Leatherbritches Ashbourne IPA Cask at the Pup & Duckling g, Solihull. Poured a mostly clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy malt, light yeast and citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, malt, light citrus woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Martinsh	3.2 Leatherbritches Back In Black Cask at Victoria, Derby. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a msall cream head and good lacing. The aroma has roast malts and fudge – plus a hint of mushrooms ! In the mouth it starts out bitter and slightly fruity, with floral hops, ash and coffee grounds . After a while dark fruits and regular malts come through as well. Finish is bitter and slightly dry. This is decent enough, gets more flavoursome as it warms uo. Sunday, June 11, 2023

Aromas of chocolate and caramel malts. Malt-forward flavours of choco-caramel, bread, and dried fruits. Smoothly roasted malty ending, semi sweet. Fine depth to it. Like it.
