3.4 Leatherbritches Berry Dangerous Cask at Victoria, Derby. Pours a dark burgundy with minimal tan head. There’s roasted malts nd raspberries in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and watery, but fruitiness quickly makes itself evident. Flavour of raspberries and summer fruits at the start, and later some old English spangles and hints of nuts and humbug. Finish is fruity and slightly bitter. This is quite nice – but doesn’t have much porter characteristic. Wednesday, May 1, 2024 | |
