3.5 Rock Bottom Arlington Wild Pilgrim Pumpkin Tap at Arlington VA. Pours hazy orange with a medium off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly with nice lacing. Aroma is light overall; notes of pumpkin flesh and the standard spice trio of allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon. Flavor is medium sweet, very light bitter, lightly spiced overall, which is a blessing for this kind of beer. Actual notes of pumpkin flesh, rather than just a ton of spices. Medium body. Pretty solid. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 | |
