Unclear orange golden in the glass, more than two finger frothy long lasting white head. Sweet banana yeast clove smell. Erzengel	3.4 Hartinger Öko Hell On tap at the brewpub. Golden and slightly cloudy in the glass. Grainy bitter beginning. Smooth but floral bitter. Grainy and caramel malty aroma with a spicy touch. Taste is minimally to moderately sweet caramel malty with a nuttily touch, spicy hints of roast, slightly husky overtones with a hay note. yngwie	3 Hartinger Öko Pils Growler, 2 liters, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a more or less clear one, golden in color and with a nice-looking white head. The aroma has a buttery touch, but is mostly fruity and malty. Some grass and hay too. The flavor is pretty much the same, with a pleasant bitterness. Medium body, pleasant carbonation level. A bit short finish maybe, with a fine bitterness. A nice beer, tasteful and bitter, but I would like a lower level of butterscotch. Sampled on December 31, 2010 As Hartinger Meisterbräu Dunkel naturtrüb 4.5% ABV, Stammwürze 13.5% Slight bit hazy, copper color, big lasting fluffy off-white head. Sweet, caramel, butterish scent. Smooth, sweet, caramel taste with a grainy breadlike finish. Smooth mouthfeel, medium low smooth bitterness. In the very last finish comes a dry sort of bitterness too. Friday, December 31, 2010

The flavour has a light sweetness and strong notes of clove and yeast, wheat and very little banana. As it warms up a bit the banana is a more clear note and the clove is less dominant.
