3.5 Green Valley Devon Farm Cyder - Dry Cask handpull at The Pembury Tavern as Green Valley Devon Farm Cyder, 7.5%. According to the barman the type isn't specified but he thinks it's the Dry because it "hurts his salivary glands". I sort of know what he means. Pours a clear amber, still with no head. Aroma is intense apple with a slight strawberry note. Attracts a lot of fruit flies. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is plasticky, rounded creamy strawberries, a big strawberries and cream vibe with some rhubarb and custard sweets too, then that Dry vibe that the barman says is like gasoline. I'm a little more forgiving - I'd call it marzipan fruits and plastic. Raspy dry finish with a lingering musty apple. Alcohol not that noticeable. Will mess you right up.
