Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this bottle! Nice malty-sweetish beginning. A nice bitterness comes in and makes the whole beer highly drinkable. Round with caramel and burned sugar, still hints of grain in the malty-sweetish, but not too sweetish body. Still not sticky, round and smooth. The aftertaste is malty-smooth, burned sugar, nice bitterness and a soft, not too intense body. Round and nice!

(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a thick and stable foamy white head. Yeasty and sweet wheat-malty aroma with distinctive citrus-/lemon-fruity aroma, including a tinge of sourness and rather strong clove-spicy notes. Yeasty wheat-malty taste with a light to moderate fruit-character (lemon, grape-fruit) and a rising level of clovy and nutmeg spice, which makes the brew rather inharmonic (17.III.09).

Bottled. Decent pilsener. Little skunky aroma, but actually like most German pilseners. Golden color, white head, good lace. Pretty bitter, well hopped, light herbal, light body, clean German straightforwardness. Not bad when compared to the Dommelsch my friend had next to me.
