Pours clear dark amber brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, fruity, nutty. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery and oily, above average carbonation. Not bad. Thursday, May 9, 2024

Pours yolky yellow with a white head, very hazy, fresh nose, there is a little bit of citrus. Soft mouthfeel, a little fruity, it's a bit more hoppy and less of the usual Hefe Weiße characteristics than a German example. Fine. Sunday, February 18, 2024

weizen-slayer	2.8 Staropramen Ležák / Premium / 12° Klar und rotblond im Glas. Getreidig, malzige Noten bestimmen (minimal leer / spelzig). Ein winziger Hauch Honig. Florale und krautige Nuancen, die ganz leicht ins gallige, muffige abrutschen - ohne dabei wirklich unangenehm zu werden. Die allerbeste Qualität von Hopfen wurde hier glaube ich nicht verwendet. Some quite delicate floral flavours are present making for a surprising range of flavours. There was a pronounced bitter finish. Better than I expected. Not trying to be a beer sob but it is brewed by a multi-national and was bought from the shelves of ASDA. Not the best Czech beer I have tasted but still better than I expected. Drittel ist es mild getreidig und baut zum Schluss etwas Hopfenbitterkeit auf. Die mittlere Spundung macht es recht spritzig und das weiche Wasser passt auch gut.
