Heavily carbonated pale lager, sweet in the Italian way, thinnish malts, slightly musty cereal notes. There is a hint of citrus. It's not a bad attempt but I did feel a little hard done by when I came up with this researching afterwards. Monday, September 21, 2020 | |

3.3 Spire Sgt. Pepper Stout Bottle. Had this sitting around a few years, so hopefully it's ok... Jet black ale with a thick tan head. Agitating it a bit to get the scent and I get a strong whiff of pepper - along with some mild chocolate. In the mouth, there's another blast of pepper. which is mostly dominating. There's a bit of chocolate, and a touch of hoppy citrus - but it'[s really all about that pepper. Should have drank this a bit earlier in its lifespan, but it's still decent.
