Disruption Is Brewing Wired For Sound
Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours golden yellow with a small almost white head and good lacing. There’s a distinct aroma of tropical fruits. In the mouth it is slightly bitter with a creamy texture and some underlying sweetness. Flavour has tropical fruit, mango and floral hops. Later there are hints of pineapple, corn and ginger, leading to a dry and slightly sticky finish. Overall it’s a bit better than “reasonable” !

Disruption Is Brewing Superdelicfragilisticexpialidocious
1st May 2024
Can. A light haze on this gold orange - gold beer, a decent bubbly pale cream colour head but it's lives a life that even a mayfly would sympathise with. Airy palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a light sweetness, all this brew needs. Superdelic hops (naff name) deliver bright and slightly candyish tropical fruits. Mango obvious and pineapple there but much more subtle. Other tropicals in the mix but hard to pull apart. Light crisp pine. Light crisp finish. Nice light Superdelic showcase and very drinkalble. Red fruits? Well now I know to look for it, I get a little whitish Strawberry on the back end and even a trace of candyish raspberry. A very pleasant and interesting brew.

Draught (Greyfriar, Reading) (6:4:6:3:12=3.1) Dark roasty porter aroma. More portery taste, a deep roast, just a touch burnt and a bit nutty. Slightly watery dead palate. Lacking softness and fullness, and ending a bit dusty, not the best porter in town.
