2.5 Primitiva Patagonia September 2008 Very low carbonation, pretty much flat. Quite fruity though - apricot and mango. Would have reached respectabilty without the poor palate. Sunday, January 16, 2011

2.5 Primitiva Patagonia Aroma of butter, caramel, fruit. The appearance is a hazy yellow color, white head. The flavor is butter, caramel, bread. The finish is very light noble hops. Medium in body. Not good, but I would have kept drinking it if it was all I had. Friday, April 2, 2010

1.3 Primitiva Patagonia Well, it has a really cool label and cap. Smells a bit salty and buttery. Some salty hops and butter are prevelant. Pretty watery, with not too much going on Tuesday, March 2, 2010

2.7 Primitiva Patagonia 355ml bottle. Colourful label hides a fairly average beer. Pours a light pale straw colour with a delicate white head and a reasonable level of carbonation. Salty hop aroma with a sweet honey like flavour and low bitterness. Wednesday, December 16, 2009

1 Primitiva Patagonia Bottle from Utobeer. Nice label. Pale golden with a fast diminishing, white head. Sweet, fat grainy aroma. Sweet and buttery, sickening. Still watery texture. Luckily, it was accepted by my zink. Friday, September 11, 2009

0.8 Primitiva Patagonia Bottle, off-license Brighton. Golden colour, off-white head. Aroma and flavour of sweet malts. Very sweet, buttery and watery. Medium carbonated. This is an awful beer, like a bad low alcohol beer. Happy to pour through the sink. One of the worst beers ever tasted. Wednesday, September 9, 2009

1.5 Primitiva Patagonia Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Brigg. Hazy gold, shortlived white head and low condition. Gentle sweetness and slightly floral hop note in the nose, slight fruity citrus in the mouth, short tangy sweet finish. Saturday, May 23, 2009

1.7 Primitiva Patagonia Fairly average. As per previous notes this is loaded with popcorn butter and stale characters. There’s some weird lucizade going on as well. I think these guys need to change the ’exclusive’ recipe. Monday, May 4, 2009

1 Primitiva Patagonia More water than beer. Very light. Grassy, cereal, fruity with raisins. Body looks like apple juice. Without head. Smells of raisins. High carbonation. The wateriest beer I’ve ever tried. Wednesday, April 1, 2009

1.3 Primitiva Negra Intensa Bought this bottle at nearby Supermercado Carrefour here in Recoleta, Buenos Aires. Second in on the shelf. Poured with some head that quickly went away and no lace. Aroma is dark malt, a bit of roastiness, and dark ripe fruit. Color is a very dark, almost opaque mahoghany red. Flavor is ripe fruits malty sweet. Very thin body, watery. Thin carbonation. Finish is dark sweet. Not that great. Wouldn’t cross the street to avoid it, but all in all, I’d rather have a Quilmes. Monday, March 16, 2009

2.8 Primitiva Got this bottle off the shelf at the nearby Supermercado Carrefour here in Recoleta, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Got the second one in so as to avoid light struck. Poured with a decent white head and some lace. Had a slightly hazy tarnished brass color. Aroma is malty with a hint of hop and some grass. Flavorl’s about the same. Body is medium. Finish is more malty sweet than bitter. Serviceable, but nothing special. Monday, March 16, 2009

1.8 Primitiva Patagonia Didnt hold a head at all, on a dull orange gold body. Taste is not awful but it is not very good either, some caramel but pretty lifeless overall. Saturday, February 21, 2009

2.6 Primitiva Patagonia What can you say. It looks good but it is not. Orange appearance, with no carbonation and pouring quite flat. Thin body and a strange grass like flavour. Hard to describe how awful this really is. Sunday, December 7, 2008

3.1 Primitiva Bottle, february 2008. Pale golden color, clear with a medium, creamy white head. Malty, herbal aroma with some slight honeyish notes. Flavor is rather neutral, but balanced. Some bittersweetness, a nice, solid malt backbone with a slight vert slight nutty maltiness at the end. Medium mouthfeel, balanced, refreshing and with a gentle aftertaste. Not bad, accomplishing premium lager. Saturday, March 15, 2008
