Weich hopfiger Beginn. Herbe Noten sind hier und auch im weiteren Verlauf nur geringfügig vorhanden, etwas stärker sind dagegen die Malznoten, süßlich, vollmundig. Ein gelungenes, sehr weiches Pils. 9/9/11/9/9/9

courtesy of Philipp Sigg and Thomas Schneider - pours a cloudy pale golden-blond colour under a solid bright white head; aroma of herbs and dust with some fruity tone below; fizzy palate, quite full-bodied and with a decent bitterness; long malty and herbal finish with notes of almonds - a nice beer giving at the same time a solid and fresh impression

Schlossbraui Nürensdorf Schlossquell Bock-Bier
courtesy of Philipp Sigg and Thomas Schneider - cloudy dark amber-brown colour with a modest foam left; aroma of chewy malts with notes of red fruits, the all thing being pretty shy; solid but subtle carbonation, a solid malt body, some sweetness and a low bitterness, decently tasty; some residual sugars and more notes of red fruits in the finish - not true to the style and could afford a more expressive aroma but otherwise not bad at all

Schlossbraui Nürensdorf Knecht Ruprecht's Rauchbier Dunkel
courtesy of Philipp Sigg and Thomas Schneider - cloudy reddish-brown colour with a solid and persistent pale beige foam; gently smokey malty nose with light buttery and sourish notes; medium-bodied and a rounded palate, fizzy and with some sweetness, some harsh bitterness and quite dry with shy smokey malty effervescent finish - not bad but there’s something wrong here

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Cloudy brownish amber, creamy head. Soapy aroma of my grandmother’s (RIP) bath tub. Sweet with light, fragile body. A bit perfumy with shy malt flavour and some yeastiness. The expected roasty flavours can’t be found. Instead it has a long finish with growing bitterness. There is nothing particular about it, but it’s pretty balanced and nicely relaxed.
