Any product actually added to and stored in Rum barrels so as to impart character from the process. Also including product infused with Rum-soaked oak wood.
Rum is a liquor distilled from sugarcane byproducts, typically sugarcane juice, sugar cane syrup, or molasses. White rum is clear, usually has milder flavor and lighter body than gold or dark rums. Golden rums usually present a more flavorful profile than the white rums. The darkest, richest, heavy bodied rums are often referred to as black rums.
