Any product actually added to and stored in Whiskey barrels so as to impart character from the process. Also including product infused with Whiskey-soaked oak wood.
Whisky or Whiskey may differ in terms of the process in which they are made, ingredients used and how they taste. The US Whiskey is distilled thrice to produce a smoother and lighter spirit and they also use mix of grains unlike Scottish Whisky. Whiskeys (Scotch, Irish , Rye, Tennessee, Bourbon, Japanese Whiskey) can be differentiated based on the type of grain used to make it.
