My favorite is stil imperial stout, a little coffee in there is great. Barrelled is rarely great, but when it adds good notes to the beer, it goes from fantastic to out of this world. I have grown to be quite fond of sour beer too, and also pilsener type beer, each for its own occation. American style barley wine and IIPA are great too. Most other styles like bitter, brown ale, porter, pale lager, vienna etc. have to be brewed pretty much perfect before i really fancy them. I live in ōrestaden 6km from Copenhagen centre, and work in finance in a 50% owned startup that takes all my beer time and money away - for the time being - I intend to be back with a venegance once the startup takes off and we start turning cash positive. When I donít drink or read about beer, i work. When I donít work, I watch science-fiction TV-series, reaad books about economics and politics, or climb mountains or play pinball. I was once pretty good at pinball, but itís years since i participated in open national championships (and got to the finals) - Today iím probably just pretty good at it. My best pinball experience was in the Netherlands at the european championships when we (danish national team) got the swedish team so drunk that they were pretty easy to beat the day after. In pinball as in beer, the rules are the same.. donít mess with the copenhagen crew..
