My husband is a beer connoisseur - he delights in trying all kinds of beers, the more esoteric the better. I’m not, but I’m trying to learn. At first my reactions to beer ranged from "oh my good this is horrible stuff I CAN HARDLY SWALLOW" (more advanced beers like Guinness) to "ick - I could probably drink it it I had to, but WHY?" (less flavourful stuff like Bud.) But I keep trying (very small sips) if only because the "beer face" I’d make entertained him so much. I’ve gotten to the point that I’ll occasionally say "Uh, this is sort of... interesting" and hardly gag at all. [ less ]
