Nice looking medium sized place right downtown in Munich. The bar tender was nice enough, but didn’t seem thrilled because we were Americans. The beer was normally priced, with a few of the typical Bavarian beers. The beer was very good.

I’ve only been here once and it’s already one of my favorite stops in Munich. Awesome, traditional beer hall with all the normal Paulaner favorites plus some exclusives like a Kellerbier and a Dunkelweizen during my visit. Good service and actually, didn’t seem overrun by tourists. Recommended.

Nice brewpub. I started here my beertour in Bavaria cause it was the nearest to my hostel. I had their keller and their dunkelweizen. Fast and good service. It was late at night in a weekday so it was quite empty

Very nice spot but it is also tourist trap. Beer was fresh and very nice. Service was good , prices were OK considering location.

Squat vaulting in a very tall building, lots of actual pretzels hanging from runners, and traditional light and dark beerhall wood. Basically empty when I was there, waiter mumbled but was good, beers were surprisingly good, would come back. Note: it was buried in the menu but they do offer a "Trio" sampler, 3x0,1L for €3,90, which includes the seasonal.

Beautiful garden and interior, efficient service. Only 2 beers available on tap: zwickel and weisse. May worth a detour if your in the neighborhood.

Killer beer hall with a beautiful copper brewhouse and glass-encased open fermenters on the ground floor. The three beers they had when I went (Zwickl, Weisse, and Kapuzinator Doppelbock) were all very good. The doppelbock was one of the best that I had while in Germany. A little walk south of the city center but quite close to the Oktoberfest grounds if you are in town for that. I’d put this on the short list of places to have a beer while in town.

Brewpub inside a large building dominating the Kapuzinerplatz, looks kind of a suburban Hofbräuhaus.... The house-beers are far better than the usual rubbish that is served in "modern german brewpubs" Not worth a journey, but maybe worth a detour!

Beer pub / restaurant with cosy atmosphere. In our group both a 2-year-old boy and his grandma felt like home there. Staff OK but I wouldn’t mind of a bit more friendlyness. Beer selection consists of Paulaner beers with a few extra sorts that are being brewed there on location. Food wasn’t that special. It was too salty but otherwise OK. I give them an extra point for desserts which were tasty and innovatively made.
