Really enjoyed this place! Open, taps were diverse and some unique brews I hadnít seen previously, and the food was truly incredible. World-class BBQ. Service was attentive but not terribly knowledgeable about what they had. Canít beat the BBQ and brew combination...will definitely return!

I saw why this place is world class. The taps speak for themselves and of course, awsome BBQ. The service was excellent, my server was able to do so much and keep track of everything. I will be coming back I just which it wasnt a 30-40 minute drive from my house.

18 Aug 2013. Awesome! 23 taps. Three beers were their own. The rest were guest taps from all over. I haven't even seen half of them. Food is med priced but awesome. Bartender was very friendly. It is small and busy on a Sunday. Apparently it gets lots busier though.

A small and narrow space on the way out to the Seal Beach pier. Always an excellent draft selection and the food can hang with pretty much any BBQ in the state. The size is the only downside, it can really take some maneuvering to get a place to sit at the bar unless it is the middle of the week. They also have some awesome special events and tap takeovers periodically.

I go here to try their brews and only have one(IPA) on tap Tuesday. Didnít stay after the IPA, but shared a brew a guy bought. Asked about their beers, Long Beach is the place to go he said. Sad

I guess itís high time to update my review of this place. First went in 2008 after having walked by a few times without realizing it. The food is amazing and the service is always good. The first time I went in I was very surprised at how they "only" had 15-20 taps but they were all interesting and in most cases good. Had some obscure Speakeasy beer and something called Cuvee de Raisin (I eventually figured out who made that one). Sadly I dont get back enough but will try to periodically.
Complaints include that its small so seating is an issue, parking sucks, and the prices are high (but the food and beer are worth it).
Also, I hear they have a good bottle list but in my dozen or so trips Iíve never looked, I just drink the draft beer.

A very hole in the wallish type of atmosphere, very intimate and small. Great service, well thought out medium sized selection. Great experimental/southern hybrid cuisine. I love it. Itís fairly priced, but not a habit I could sustain if I lived closer. Much different from the LB location.

fantastic taplist of local and regional and international beer. delicious and well-made food (grits with mushrooms, do it) with passionate and knowledgeable staff and one of the most extensive bottle lists Iíve seen in the states. best of all, they serve the kegs at cellar temperature rather than freezing cold like most places around.
