Chill place with an extensive taplist they favored higher ABV brews when I went (most over 6%, the lowest was 4.8%), friendly service but no Rocky Mountain oysters when I went. I got the Meatloaf sliders (8$), Brussels sprouts (6.50$) and a side of fried cheesy mash potatoes(1$ extra) for lunch. Good place for food and brews.
Stopped in briefly, late on a Wednesday night. The bartender was prompt enough and not unfriendly, but I think he was probably winding down from a long evening. Excellent tap list, but I didnít take a look at the bottle list. The prices looked a little high to me, but thankfully most of the big beer and sours were in smaller pours, to keep the prices down. I wasnít that impressed, but my visit was at a strange time, and very abbreviated. I hope to return and revise my review.
Came in here for a couple of drinks after dinner on a Saturday night. It was pretty early, and there was plenty of seating at the bar in front. Bartenders were really friendly and excited to talk beer. Nice draft list made up of mostly CO and US craft. Didnít have any Russian River on our visit, but apparently they do quite regularly. Really solid bottle selection too, I couldnít bring myself to pull the trigger on a Casey 750 for maybe $50, but I strongly considered it. Prices seemed fairly reasonable to me, but most places do when you travel away from NYC. I would definitely stop here next time in Denver.
Comfortable, typical downtown shotgun style bar with lots of tables in back for food service. The number of brews is not overwhelming but the selections are pretty nice with a regional emphasis, and it seems that local one-offs are available most of the time. Service at the bar at lunchtime and a little on beyond was outstanding even as it became fairly busy. The food menu sounded awesome, but the Iowa pork T sandwich and roasted vegetables I had were quite average. Still, itís a good beer destination. Prices were quite reasonable for both food and beer.
Very knowledgable bar staff. Even shared her staff bottle for the day with us. Excellent selection of American beers with some additions from further afield. Have not tried the food. Place has a bar in the front and a long (dark) restaurant setting with booths in the back.
Visited during GABF 2014 weekend
From outside it looks like a small bar. Inside itís narrow and long. Nice long bar and plenty of seating. When we got there it was packed in front at the bar but hardly anybody in the back. Good service and food. The tap list was nothing special but had a few new beers I hadnít had.
