“Small place in an older bungalow a short distance from Skull Tree. Bar with half a dozen stools and some restaurant tables. Few barstools on a deck out front and some picnic tables out back. Unlimited street parking. Half a dozen beers on tap included a black IPA, a grodzkiskie and just two IPAs. Beers were not bad, maybe a bit of butter in one, but my palate isn't very good at detecting that. Free (I think) hotdogs and popcorn. Friendly owner/brewer and a bunch of loyal clientele. No visible brewhouse.“

“Big place on the main road with a drive-through window, why not. Inside is mainly macros and hard liquor but there are a handful of Wyoming beers mainly in six packs. Good prices.“

“Big place, just one wall of coolers and a bit less than one aisle devoted to beer, including macros. Another walk in cooler in the back for macros by the case. Sadly no singles, mainly six packs, so certainly no mixed four or six packs. Good selection of Wyoming breweries and local stuff, including one Wyoming brewery I hadn't tried before. Cheap prices, friendly service.“

“I was the only customer on a Sunday at dinner time, and that should have given me a clue. Unimpressed with both the pizza and the beer list. The usual Melvin IPA that seems to be at nearly every restaurant west of the Mississippi these days, one Gruner pils and the rest were generic macro stuff. The pizza was also generic American that you can get at any random chain, despite the name of the place. Best skipped.“

“Based on its being singled out as the best beer store in Wyoming by Men’s Journal, I was very disappointed. Yes, there was a large beer selection on warm shelves, with only a few available as singles. In this era of fragile hazy IPA’s, it is inexcusable to have beers only available warm. On an up note, they did have some interesting Abyss and Big Bad Baptist variants available in bombers.“

“Located in a warehouse in Casper. Pretty large place, lots of tables, a long bar. They have a food truck. Also lots of games - cornhole set up, shuffleboard, and board games. Long tap list- 18 beers. Plenty of different styles and the beer is pretty good. Worth a stop.“

“Large restaurant/bar on the outskirts of Casper. Nice but small outdoor patio. They boast 40 taps, which they claim are all local, though not all are. The menu is pretty poor at listing where the beers are from, also. Still, they have a decent selection of local beers but I wouldn't say it's a great selection. A lot of the styles offered are in the wheat/hefe/blond category. They have a very large food menu, pub style fare but almost anything you might want - burgers, sandwiches, pizza, entrees, pasta, steak, tacos, etc. Some local fare items (Ranger's shepherd's pie). I thought this could be a place to stop to try a bunch of WY beers but the selection wasn't as good as I'd hoped.“

“Large brewpub in Casper. Lots of indoor seating, possibly they host larger parties as there are multiple rooms. Also a nice outdoor patio with an overlook of the city and mountains. They had about 12-15 taps. The Sand Creek IPA was quite good. The pale ale tasted slightly flawed. They have a food menu (rare for breweries in Casper) but we didn't order any food. Still worth a stop.“

“Fairly large brewery in downtown Casper. They have a large outdoor area next to the street, not super scenic but still pleasant. A large indoor area with a long wraparound bar, TVs. They had about 6 regulars, 3 seasonals, and some limited releases (might be bottles?). Beer was ok, nothing special though. No food menu but there is popcorn. Decent stop for a beer, but not very memorable.“

“A small brewery in Casper right off I-25. There is a small indoor area with a few bar seats. Nice outdoor patio with trees for shade (artificial turf grass though). They don't have their own food but occasional food trucks. They had about 8 taps while I was there, a variety of styles. Beers were pretty tasty. Nice place to chill with a beer.“

“Met friends here for some pandemic drinking. Decent sized modern space right in the middle of downtown, brewhouse not visible. Easy parking. Decent variety of beer styles, and pretty tasty.“

“Huge place with its own large parking lot. Up on a hill, so there's a great view from the large deck/patio. Inside has a long serving bar and lots of restaurant tables. Taplist is large. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is decent German style.“

“Visited on a Wednesday evening during COVID recovery. Food was fine. There will be better out there in most everything they do, but the food itself was cromulent to slightly above. As to beer, they have tons of local stuff. Local stuff is decent, these guys get what's good. Wyoming-focused taplist, a bunch of breweries you've never heard of. They have pre-set flights, and the bartender was liberal with samplers. All told, worth a stop if you're staying in one of the many hotels nearby. Great prices on the drinks.“

“I was not expecting such a grand facility. Arriving in the large parking lot and seeing this large complex on a hill overlooking Casper was exciting. The patio has an unbeatable view of the town. Beer is super spot on, they make a lot of traditional lagers which is always welcome on a warm summer day. Just clean beer. Six packs and growlers are available. There is a restaurant down the hall if you want food.“

“This is a small, efficiently laid out liquor store in downtown. I prefer to browse a selection like this, not so vast but just well put together. Pretty much any packaging Wyoming brewery that's available is represented here. Everything is refrigerated and there's probably five or six tall coolers. This is one of the more comprehensive selections I've come across in the state and I was able to find plenty of fresh product as well. They have some local spirits too if that's your thing. Service was friendly and helpful.“

“I never have seen downtown Casper before but I get the feeling it's been recently redeveloped. It's a smart thing for a little town to do to drive commerce. The Gaslight Social fits right into this feeling of newer buildings with plenty of nearby parking and a lively nightlife scene, though I honestly have no idea how long they've been here. It's a pretty large bar with an arcade in the bank and a few pool tables off to a side. It had almost a club kind of feel. Tap list is pretty extensive for the area and there are a lot of quality options, but I wouldn't call it painstakingly curated. There were just a couple Wyoming breweries represented and a few trusted Coloradan options. There is a cantina-style American-Mexican set up in the corner that stays open pretty light for Casper, so that was a welcome bonus.“

“This is a spacious taproom right in downtown. The atmosphere is clean, sleek, and very open. It's pretty odd and cool to see a brewhouse this small in a commercial setting, couldn't be more than one barrel. So, plenty of beers were available and I'm sure that's normally the case. Quality was quite good. It's the only brewery downtown so it makes it even more of a sensible stop.“

“Met Bitterbill here. Pretty large taproom with 12 beers on tap. Mostly Frontier, but some guest beers as well. Pour your own system works very good, easy to use and perfect for tasting. Quality of beer was good. Worth checking out if you're in town.“

“This place was a nice surprise, with some decent beers on tap. I liked the pour your own system that prices by the ounce. I was able to try a half dozen beers for about 12 bucks, plus free popcorn! Nice vibe. My opinion of Casper has gone up a notch.“

“Good place for a beer or 2 and good food. Parking can be a pain but I reckon it's worth it. 24 taps with some good Wyoming brews, Odell and Deschutes taps seem to be always on. A few of the light beers taking up spots but that's not unusual for Casper.“

“30 taps, most don't change but Stone Scorpion Bowl showed up and, hopefully, more will show up on the rotating tap list. Food is okay, ambience is meh. “

“Visited in August 2017. Was just driving through and didn’t really expect to find much but this was an impressive stop. A couple big aisles worth of singles and lots of regional specialties including some relative rarities. Definitely recommended.“

“I've now had 6 of the 7 beers from, currently, Caspers only brewery. The Dark Rye and Belma IPA being my favourites so far. Thank goodness that their beers don't taste like a poorly brewed homebrew! And they rotate some really excellent guest beers. Love it!“

“My how this place has gone from mediocre to the best store in Wyoming, thanks for the most part of Jacob. He's a beer geek and he helped bring back the Growler Station(8 taps), and has been working closely with the distributors to acquire beers that us geeks like. Kudos to Jacob and Liquor Shed!“

“Located in the same stretched out building as Racca's, it's a small store but with a wide variety of wine, spirits, and beer. Not as big a selection as Liquor Shed and the prices seem to be a tad higher. I did find a few beers that LS didn't have so that, plus the friendly atmosphere, will keep me coming back.“

“Good list of draughts but not anything that you can find at most other craft centric bars in town. Service has been excellent, but one suggestion I would make is, eat somewhere else before coming here. The food is terrible!“

“Impressive looking building, always excellent service but, prices are a bit outrageous and the food menu is stagnant and to be honest, uninspiring. Occasionally they will have an unusual beer on draught, like Alaskan Smoked Porter one time but I'm cutting back my visits.“

“This is kind of a dive bar with a more than decent selection of beers. The service can be terrible at times, the food menu has some goodies, the decor could definitely use some upgrading. Now they have gambling machines..that's gonna attract more undesirables, in my humble opinion. Only worthy of an occasional visit.“

“I go here for the trivia...and the beer. They have a good rotating tap program going on and prices for draughts are usually pretty good; if it's expensive during the day, come in on happy hour to get half price. Food for the most part is typical fare, some nice bargains like pub pizzas at HH are ~$3 for an individual 2 topping. Service is mostly good at the bar, booths and tables can be a bit iffy. Overall, my go to place in Casper.“

“I was in town visiting my father-in-law and he took me to this fine establishment. Consists of an upscale bar area and a liquor store. I ordered a VO on the rocks and got a drink that would tranquilize an elephant. Probably a 4 to 5 shot drink. After sucking down two of them I went into the liquor store section and was able to load up on some new beers. The liquor store offers a ton of wines, liquor and a decent variety of beers. A must stop shop if you’re ever in Casper, Wyoming.“

“If you are in downtown Casper this isn’t a half bad store to stop by. A nice warm selection that is at a discount and a good discounted ccase selection. Carries a nice selection of regional beers and some of the other lesser known macros. Also has a decent selection of bottles, some moderately rare. One of the things I like is that they have quite a few beers marked down. Most are imports and are offered at half price. Their prices were kind of hit and miss. Some were cheaper, while others were way higher. The people working there were not very helpful. They sat back and minded their own business. Overall, if one is in the downtown Casper area, it is worth stopping by for the sale items.“
