“Visited on February 27, in the evening. Located near the confluence of the Ottawa and the Gatineau River, you can see Parliament Hill from the patio. The is a large public parking behind the pub, with a walking acces between the parking and the street were the pub is. The place is not handicap friendly, only the patio is accessible. The tap list has a good and interesting variety, most of them are available in cans to go, I had the saison (ok) and the West Coast IPA (good). The food menu is not your typical pub fair, more on the foody side, most of it are quite interesting (the brisket burger was good). The service was ok, he did forgot to give me some napkins and utensils. Despite its lack of accessibility, it does fill the void after a couple brewpubs that recently closed.“

“Beautiful place, did not try their menu but left with 8 different beers out of 15. Among others, a nice BBA, looking forward to try them.“

“This is my first visit since COVID. The brewery is located in an industrial sector off Pink Blvd. The taproom is integrated into the brewery; since COVID, its a bit smaller, with the long bar with chairs on one side and barrels in lieur of tables with no seating. The service was good, Beers are very well made overall, but it varies. 3 X 6 ounces for 12$. No food or snacks.“

“Small taproom with 14 seats located in an industrial Sector. 8 taps of beers, no flights, just full glasses, but generous tasters provided. Limited food menu, 4 sandwiches with salads. Beers are well made.“

“A few pluses for this place is the location, in an industrial sector so plenty of parking, modern building with large taproom, not as busy as other location and different beer selection than de la Gappe. No kitchen but you can bring your own food (until they find a partner restaurant). Beers are top notch. Service is attentive. Negative is no taster sizes, only half pours (5 to 7$) but if you ask nicely, they may give you a taste.“

“Very small neighborhood market. Almost a quarter of the place is taken us in beer and a little bit of wine. There are three coolers, but most beers are on shelves. Good selection, as far as I can tell as a foreigner, including several different magnums. Prices seemed to be OK. Worth a look if you're in the area. Parking is no problem.“

“In a big old house not far from the marina. Street parking was hard to come by with lots of competition. Nice big outdoor area with lots of picnic tables mostly shaded by maple trees. Spoiled by out of control dueling dogs allowed on the tables and sick coughing toddlers. Small interior with a handful of restaurant tables and a serving bar, no table service. Small taplist and some cans, flights of four possible and beers were decent. Although they had food I only saw one guy with a charcuterie plate. Worth a look.“

“In what looks like an old house. Basically no parking within several blocks, with dozens of people cruising and making U-turns on a busy good-weather Saturday afternoon. Large outdoor space with a huge tent over picnic tables, some barrels and a small bench type bar. Inside had a long wrap around bar that was nearly empty when outside was full with a long line, as well as restaurant tables. Table service started strong then faded as they got busier and busier and busier. Almost everyone was eating, a testament to the tasty food. Large taplist with a whole bunch of bottles and cans. I didn't see any flights, but taster sizes were in the $3 range except for a whole bunch of Peche Mortel variants which were around $4. Solid place.“

“My favorite place on the Gatineau side so far. Beautiful location on the river; I saw an American flag across the river, but this place is far from the border; turned out to be the Chancery, itself on a pictureque road. But I digress. No street parking here, but turn one block before the brewpub for a free public lot, or two blocks after the brewery for a larger free gravel lot, both of which serve the local park. There is a nice terrace with picnic tables, then a long bar, and restaurant tables on two levels. Two ladies older than myself sat at the bar discussing the merits of Azacca versus Mosaic hops, so I knew I was in a special place. Six house taps were pretty creative and tasty, and then eight or so guest taps mostly saisons from around Quebec City. Food menu is small but creative - the sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had, flavorful, crisp and light, difficult to do. Service was friendly and efficient. Infants (multiple) were present and treated well, but I saw no dogs. A must-visit and a must-eat if you're anywhere near Ottawa.“

“This is a small place in sort of a strip mall setting. Multiple parking lots, although they were fairly full on a Friday afternoon. No outdoor seating. Inside is an L-shaped serving bar walled off from the world by plexiglass, as well as scattered bar tables and restaurant tables in about a 50/50 mix. Table service was quick and efficient. NEIPAs dominated the taplist, although a collab hazy with Auval was one of the better ones I've had; there were also enough tasty stouts to keep me interested, plus a pastry sour (not for me). Tasters were 6 ounces for $5-8 so I stuck to the 12 ounces sizes except for the bigger BA stouts. Food was done by Clandestine and was pretty good, with a handful of veggie options. One infant was present but no dogs. Solid stop.“

“My Airbnb was just down the street so this was a convenient stop for house roasted coffee and a good variety of cheeses. Beers are all in coolers at the back of the store, a small but reasonable selection of local stuff. Between this and Pain d'Alain a few doors down you can stock up on everything you need for a beer tasting or bottle share.“

“Waking distance from 5e Baron, this is a pretty great bar. They had 20 taps, almost all QC beers and all available in taster size pours for $3-4 or so. The taplist wasn’t sensational, having plenty of mediocre stuff on tap when I visited, but I managed to find a few interesting ones to taste. Service was haphazard and out to lunch, but friendly enough. If you’re in this area, this is a worthwhile stop, but if not, then check out the taplist before you come to make sure it’s worth it.“

“Very close and walking distance from 5e Baron, this is a convenience store with a great craft beer selection in back. Mostly QC beers, and mostly unrefrigerated. Really impressive selection, especially as a visitor — so I’m unable to comment on how it compares to other spots in Gatineau. If I had checked bags, I could easily spend $300+ here. Debit or cash only here, which is super lame — what the hell is up with that? Definitely worth visiting if in the area and are looking for bottles to go.“

“If you don’t have a car, it’s a bit of a trek out here, but accessible enough via transit. Great spot, with lots of patio seating and an intimate interior. I sat inside and ordered at the bar. They had 6 beers on tap, with flights of 4 available for about $12-13 plus tax. Beer quality was pretty solid, with everything being dialled in well but nothing being exactly excellent. I ate there too, as they had a vegan sandwich; it was tasty but a tiny portion for the $12 price tag. Friendly service. Worth a stop if in the area, and maybe even if you’re not.“

“Gorgeous spot right on the Ottawa River and overlooking Rockcliffe Point on the Ottawa side, this is worth visiting just for the setting. The beer is decent too. They had 12 house beers on tap when I visited plus another 3 guest taps. All beers are available in 5 oz pours for $3.50-4.50 plus tax. Beer quality is decent at best, with most things competently brewed but nothing more. They had 3 imperial stouts (2 of them variants of the first), which were fairly underwhelming, but bonus points for the ambition. Extremely friendly service. Great stop for all reasons except the beer, which is passable.“

“Not too far from the Gatineau centre and easily accessible by bus; you can even bus here directly from downtown Ottawa, or Uber for $20+. Small, intimate, modern tasting room with capacity for maybe 30-40… perhaps more during normal times. 9 beers on tap when I visited — almost all hazy IPAs. Everything is available in 6 oz pours but outrageously priced at $5-7 plus tax. Friendly, astute service. One of the best breweries in the greater Ottawa region and a mandatory stop when on this side of the river.“

“Cool place I visited like five years ago and forgot to rate. A ton of beer here, and some great stuff from Quebec just across the provincial border in Ottawa. All contributes to one of the major reasons Ottawa bats out of its league as a beer town in some ways. Prices a little on the high side.“

“Small restaurant located in the middle of downtown Gatineau. Food is quite good and this place would be highly rated on food only but they also have a small but killer list of draft and bottle beers. Price are reasonable considering the quality and scarcity of beers offering. Parking is easily available in the surrounding streets. The only issue is that the place is quiet small and you may need a reservation to get in.“

“Brewery with a small bar, I believe 8 taps, 4 tables and large garage doors to enjoy the outdoors while sipping. Food to be served soon, owner aiming for next week. To get it fresh from the brewery, it’s great. Owner loves talking beer as well, he’s bilingual and friendly. $6 bottles (500ml). Worth the detour, go encourage him!“

“Visited on March 5, 2019, before noon. Located on the very commercial section of Gatineau (a mall, bunch of stores and restaurants, etc.), inside a shared building with other business. There is parking, but it is a bit of a premium, although you can always take public transit. Definitely smaller than BDT and Gainsbourg in Hull, of course they are more the restaurant type, still a nice setup. One section with small tables for two and the other for groups. Not a big food menu, but quite interesting. The big hot dog smell good, but I went for the pan chicken with kimchi sauce, very nice. The tap menu was also small but good variety, although there was two variation of the Hypa IPA, but I went for the Double call Tiberius (Roman emperor), very solid, but so are the two others I had last January in cans. However, the store selection is kind of thin, only three kinds for sale that day, but then again they don't have the capacity like the two others. In all, a very good addition the Capital region beer scene!“
