“Interesting web shop for trappist beers. Found it while looking for a specific one and managed to get some long-term wants alongside. Not all beers were that fresh anymore, but the selection makes up for it. Definitely interesting, will come back and see if some beers which were out of stock are available again.“

“highly reccomended place , so I took my stepping shoes ( I wish I had done so ). the closest busstop is an hour walk from the bar. You have to be devoted to go here ! But when you do... the menu is very big ( extreme for a place like this ) cosy bar, with a rather big outside area. The menu consists of the to-be-expected classics, along with some surprises! prices are very mediocer - abit high for the location perhaps - but for other beers very low . the prices for the struise beers are insane ! There is also a vintage menu, but I wasn’t that big of a fan. True, many beers were awesome for me to still have found them, but the list is clearly bad-selling beers that just are over the Best by date. Most of them aren’t suitable for ageing. they do tell you up front its past the BBD, so nothing is really wrong, but I expect a beer like this to drop in price. this is still the full price... For the very,very small amount of interested people, it is agreeable, but for the rest, i don’t see many people enjoying a beer from this list. Service is very nice though. This guy is truly passionate about specialty beers, and how he managed to get this info, these beers, to this location, is truly a unique accomplishment. one small negative side, people should know up front, is that this is a cash-only place, NO CARDS , and no nearby bankcontact“

“Best bar in the wide neighborhood, special beers on bottle and draft you can’t easily find anywhere else in Belgium. Nice outdoor seating. Inside is also very interresting with the wall/seiling decorations. Goei boelette met curry.“

“Nice beer bup in the woods of Herselt. Excellent place to enjoy a good craft beer after a walk or bike ride. Outstanding beer list with the better local craft beers and a nice selection of Struise beers. From time to time they also have some excellent foreign beers available. I’m very much surprised to be the first ratebeerian to rate this place.“
