66 /100 7 HIGH STREET My first visit to an Everards pub so my rate maybe slightly biased due to the fact that there were 6 cask options completely new to me even though there were no guest beers.
Old 16th century refurbed pub with nooks and crannies' everywhere. Has character. Service was good on my visit. |
44 /100 7 HIGH STREET Large 16th Century Inn in the older part of town. It had just the standard Everards beers available on our visit, no guests. Had to wait ages to be served and yet there was hardly anyone in the pub. No need to go back to this one. |
50 /100 Old Bakery (Bar) 12 HIGH STREET Visited Jul '18. Ex bakery in an older part of Kenilworth acting as the bar to a larger B&B behind. Small and comfortable but the beer range on our visit was frankly dull, the beer itself was the same unfortunately, also the service was virtually non existent, not the best of visits for us. |
58 /100 Green Man (Restaurant) 168 WARWICK ROAD Visited Jul '18. Large roadside pub on the southern edge of Kenilworth. Quite a large Ember Inn, mostly set up for dining, there is also a large garden patio area. It's a fairly standard estate type pub, very popular, it also carries the chains regular beers with a couple of guests. |
62 /100 Old Bakery (Bar) 12 HIGH STREET Visited 30/11/16.
Pleasant former Bakery, bit like a micropub but it isn’t. Main door into a shop style room with bar at the back dispensing 4 real ales from Locale breweries. Room on left is a snug and there is limited B&B accommodation to the rear. Nice little boozer. |
70 /100 Green Man (Restaurant) 168 WARWICK ROAD Visited 30/11/16. 8 Sticks offering a variety of beers from Titanic, Purity, Black Sheep (house beer). Ember Inns Chain.
Nice cosy atmosphere, food was good value and very good. Large open plan pub with areas split by large fireplaces. |
