“Afgelopen week een bezoek gebracht. Een nostalgisch café waar een grote selectie bieren beschikbaar is. Vanwege het moment van de dag vrij rustig. Muziek keuze is voor een wat ouder bezoek aangepast denk ik.“

“Popular, lively, hospitable, gorgeous historical interior (1950s? maybe but I’m guessing badly). Great mood and amazing interior. Half of the taps are AB-InBev (Stella, Goose IPA etc.) and the other half is Bavaria (low interest for having Palm & Boon Kriek which are a bit less common on tap). Menu isn’t hugely exciting either and tad pricey, still worth it for the interior, Hops 'N More is a few buildings down.“

“Forgot to rate this one for some reason (visited in 2022), located in the suburbs. Warehouse brewery, cycling themed as to be expected from the name, some cyclists also present, friendly service. Flights available, okay prices, crowlers possible, tripel, pale etc. available but also more exotic styles than expected like gose. Friendly service / owner. Beer was okay. Juices, lemonades, bar snacks available. Fun place.“

“Visited after Leuven Innovation Beer Festival, located in one of Leuven's main streets and handily on the way back to the train station. Feels clean and new but well-structured and pleasant to sit both inside and outside on the street during summer. Large selection of international craft beers (I had an excellent oude lambiek Kestemont from tap) and they do a string of beer cocktails as well, which were very cleverly made and tasty. Quick and helpful service, too. The perfect follow-up to the defunct M-Café, Leuven's previous craft beer hot spot - and in that sense one I am determined to visit every time I am in Leuven. Top place for beer lovers!“

“Place rating #800: Georgeous looking bar, mix of something classic, bit of a coffee place, spacious, has its own touch without looking too much like modern craft beer bar whilst still slick and new. 12 taps, Pils 13, 2 local breweries (Courreur, Hof ten Dormaal), Belgians like BBP Geuze, hispers RIS, Evil Twin etc. So pretty good cross-section. Prices felt a tad high but owner explained that actually lower than lots of other places with current inflation / price hikes. Plenty of fridges with classic Belgians, hipster cans, cider fridge even, mead etc. Flights available including one where you guess the beers & get a free one if you guess them correctly. Definitely a great place worth revisiting.“

“Visited August 2023. Brewpub located in thr old town of Leuven. Interior typical Belgian. Waiter was friendly but rather weird and bit creepy. Beer list is quite standard, nothing extraordinary a beer nerd would look for, their own beers are the most interesting. Overall ok place, but the waiter was a let down.“

“Located very central, some chairs and tables outside constitute the makeshift terrace. Not very fixed or elaborate but it works, street is a good place for people watching and it adds much needed space. Inside is rather small with just one table. The place however is jampacked with an amazing beer selection. Frequent tap take-overs and specials, prime BE and European beers on tap. Amazing bottle and can selection, lot of it is hyped Untappd beers that many carry but there are also personal flourishes and prices are better than at many other places. Bottle selection goes as deep as having Tree House, Bruery & Antidoot with very agreable prizes. One of the better selections in Belgium at the moment really. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly and passionate, highly recommended plae.“

“There are some great bottle shops in Europe. This is one of them--great selection of beer from all over the place, and got some great-looking European beers from breweries that don't distribute over here to try in the USA. Excited for this, and the owners are obviously geeks about beer.“

“Small shop with 8 taps . outside seating available. Fast rotating beers from all over the place. France, US, Russia, Brazil ... . Some rare findings like Treehouse. Belgian specials from 3 fonteinen, cantillion, antidoot etc.“

“Medium sized place with clean modern, even somewhat minimalistic interior. 12 taps of both Belgian modern breweries and imports, plenty of different styles. Nice bottle/can selection with a great lineup from Antidoot. Good service and delicious food - their cheese and meat platter is fantastic. Must visit when in town.“

“Very small shop in the city center. 4 taps and bunch of beers spread over shelves 3 large fridges. Small patio outside with three or four tables. Selection is quite good with beers from all around the world. Some very nice Brazilian and US beers. Also some bottles I haven't seen elsewhere like Sante Adairius and Antidoot. Good selection of Lambics. Not the cheapest place, but prices are reasonable. I'd say this is a must visit when in town and shopping for some beers. The owner is a beer aficionado and he know his beers.“

“Medium sized shop located in the city center at one of the busiest streets. Although it may seem so this is not one of those tourist beer shops. Lots of bottles of mainly Belgian beers, but some interesting imports can be found as well. Good selections of Lambic. Prices seemed reasonable.“

“Beautiful new cosy place (opened June 2020) right in the center of Leuven. A place where beer fans and beer geeks can find both Belgian and International craft beers, but also ciders, meads, kombucha & more. Selection of international craft beers changes every week, with offerings from the top breweries in Europe and USA. Both owners are very knowledgeable and laid back, always ready to serve you. You can also try up to 4 beers from draft or take away in crowlers. They also offer tastings from time to time, with more limited beers (Hill Farmstead, Antdioot, Bokke, Cantillon, ...). A must visit when (beer) tripping in Belgium!“

“A great atmosphere with a mix of students and locals arguing about politics or telling randy jokes, in this cafe bar. The bar area is painted red with a huge blackboard covering most of the wall with the bottle beers list chalked on, and all the different glasses waiting to be filled on shelves underneath, there are also six taps in the bar. The usual small tables and a couple of large tables and some couches which nice for groups of people (in the back). Boards games and bull’s-eye freely available and table football for a fee. Helpful cool staff.“

“NEW LOCATION = Mechelsestraat 51 Open: Daily 11.00 - 02.00 A large detached white building with three floors and pavement patio. Inside there is lots of old wooden beams. Small tables and chairs also a smoking room. One of the coolest place around Leuven! Great (live) music, great selection of beers from which you can get a very good recommendation depending on your taste from the helpful and friendly staff. Just overall a very nice atmosphere. 😊 “

“The perfect afternoon in Leuven. A very cool cyclist brewery with a small garden area to the rea. If you're looking for a local, extremely friendly, and welcoming brewery, this is it. It has the authentic, rustic charm the stainless steel brew kit is cool and shiny and there are a few large tables to site and sample their beers, it's like the best local tap room. They have 4 different beers on all the time and they all have cycling related names. Some are seasonal so you can visit them many times and they will always have a surprise for you 😉 The owners Bart and Ine are as gracious and friendly hosts as you will come across.“

“Een puike selectie, waar ik binnenkort zeker nog eens ga neuzen! Een kleine winkel met zeer veel keuze en zeer goed opgebouwd ook. Waar het de gevorderde bierliefhebber omdraait zijn vaak de specialekes wel ik zag hier onder andere nog Fou'foune van Cantillon. “
