“At the rear of a modern late night music bar called Rock City, you can drink in or takeaway - and the former might be best if you are staying here as the dozen or so taps in the central island service area are fairly bland offerings.“

“Just a couple of minutes walk east of the old town in a classic old-town style building with a raised terrace at its side. If you sit here you may get your drinks served through one of the open windows from the main bar area. This is quite modern with sympathetic nods to a traditional drinking house style. The bar is on the right after you enter with all the beers on a list on the wall in front. There's a good mix of their own brews and guests.“

“In the roadside building of the brewery with large patio area out front. It's more like a restaurant than a beer hall in appearance, and certainly not shabby. It was empty in the daytime for me but it clearly does a lot of business in food orders at peak times . Plenty of choices from their own beer range as you might expect!“

“Opposite the Brewery's Beer Bottle Museum in the same building as its restaurant, this is a heavy duty bulk beer store - more like a ' Cash & Carry' aimed at large quantities. For minor purchases there's one or two items around that may take your fancy.“

“In one of the underground passageways' below the station platforms, this is a largish shop unit doing exactly what it name implies. There's plenty of countries represented in various types of brews, with a very big choice. Some are very recognisable names, but plenty are specialist beers. Fridge options are available for on the go drinking.“

“In a long row of shops a few minutes walk beyond the railway station's own shops, its not far from the main road that follows the tracks. This is a a well laid-out deli in a square room offering up a small but fully crafted selection of Swiss bottled brews.“

“Not far beyond the railway station and remaining close to the tracks, this is a modern craft brewery bar in a corner unit. If you want to sit outside they have a more traditional looking garden just across the road. They serve a lot of their own regular brews in different styles, and everything is pretty expensive.“

“Pleasant enough old town restaurant on a fork in the pedestrian area with outside terrace, although not so much a place to just go for a drink. Tap, bottle or alcohol free options - their actual menu doesn't list what brand or brewery they are, or from, so can only assume it's local and probably that as described by the previous reviewer here.“

“On the cusp of the old town by the road that leads to the Schutzengarten Brewery, which can be seen from here, this is a craft beer bar in an extensive shop unit conversion with a central entrance with its bar against the back wall. There's plenty of modern style seating between. It has a dozen or so crafted efforts chalked up behind the bar and not limited to just domestic, with Vocation from England represented here at the time of my visit“

“Similar to other Drinks of the World branches, this one also in the train station. Most interested in the local selection, managed to get the ones just available in this branch. Prices as per usual for Switzerland. Typical good selection of international and Swiss beers, and other alcoholic beverages.“

“A short walk from the city center. 11 of the 12 taps were in use, unfortunately none from the brewery itself when I visited. But some local beers, and an interesting international mix. Very helpful Danish barman, had a good chat with him. Luckily could do 1 dl samples. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in town.“

“Very busy on a Friday night. Eight beers on tap: six standard ones and two Brauwerk. Does samples (150 ml), which is great, and explained the beers well. Beers seemed fresh, had a good time there.“

“excellent burger restaurant with perfect ambiance and excellent service - so worth visiting to eat something, though the beer selection is limited to Feldschlössen Original (pale lager) and weizen on tap and alcohol free in bottle“

“Own shop of Schützengarten located right next to the brewery in St. Gallen with the whole sortiment (including barrel aged specialities), as well as some other beers, wines, champagnes, spirits and soft drinks for very reasonable prices - definitely worth visiting“

“Great place with 8 beers on tap (mainly Schüzengarten, but also 2 of their own - as Schützengarten's own craft brewery); worth visiting“

“New and very cozy craft beer bar in the otherwise beer-boring city of st gallen. 12 taps, mostly stocked with super-local beers that cannot even be had in the next city over! Bottle list is pretty standard for craft beer places in Switzerland, not bad but also nothing to really make the place stand out. Bartender Ole was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable, took great care of the bar and the beers when i was at the bar. He seems to know most brewer who supply him and also seems to care about the quality of the beer. All of the beers on tap can be had as 1dl pours, which i appreciate and he gives out plastic cups in case you want to take a beer on the go. If you find yourself in St Gallen or you are on your way through with some spare time, definitely go and chat with Ole while tasting some of the locals.“

“Cozy bar some minutes away from the centre of St. Gallen with the bus. Very nice service, with vast knowledge about beer & brewing. 12 beers on tap, 1-2 own ones, and a good selection of bottled beers. 2-3 dishes, but haven’t tried them. Prices are ok.“
