“A large 'spoons near the railway station. Seems lighter and brighter inside than many others. Wider than usual cask range, with usually at least one from Oakham alongside local southwest London breweries and the standard Wetherspoons list.“

“One the brewery for Big Smoke, and it seems they will soon again have a brewery in house. A great lineup of craft beers on keg and cask, along with 5 cask ciders. Traditional pub with a big seating area outside also. Good food. Great place.“

“Large’ish Weatherspoons with everything that brings; good selection of beers at very reasonable prices. Only the Antelope has a better selection in Surbiton, still, I’ve never felt like staying for more than one in the Coronation Hall.“

“As several Young’s pubs in the area, this has recently gone from a somewhat rundown pub showing sports to a nicely decorated pub more focused on the food offerings. The beer selection is limited but with a consistently excellent Founder’s All Day IPA and Beavertown Neckoil on tap as well as a few interesting cans and bottles there’s always something to keep me happy for a short visit.“

“I visit the Antelope regularly. It’s a great pub with a strong selection of cask ales and always at least a couple of interesting craft beers on keg (the cider selection is also good). Many of the beers are from the Big Smoke brewery that resides in the old stables behind the pub but you will also find beers from top UK breweries and further afield. The staff are knowledgeable and will always offer you to try before ordering. The food is good and reasonably priced for the area. I love the warm ambiance of this place which I consider the best pub in Kingston/Surbiton area slightly ahead of its younger sibling, The Albion in Kingston. Update, November 2017: The Antelope now has more beers on keg (14 taps). The selection has been very impressive the last couple of times I have visited.“

“Visited on a busy June Saturday evening. Outdoor area was packed but lots of room inside. Good array of beers including 3 of their own. Picked up a couple of interesting beers from the NE too. All were top notch. Ate there. Ribs were decent and huge. Decent value place. Nice pub. Recommend it especially for the Big Smoke beers as don’t venture out often.“

“Sister pub to Sussex Arms in Twickenham and Express Tavern in Brentford (you can use your loyalty card in all three) aswell as home of Big Smoke brewery. Pub was busy late on a Wednesday night. Staff knowledgeable and keen. Good choice of cask ales from all over the UK not just their own. Worthy of going out of your way to visit.“

“Situated a couple of minutes from Surbiton station this is a nice Spoons conversion. Visited on Sat 25th Oct in the afternoon during the beer festival so a better than normal range. Service was reasonable, plenty of beers on tap and seemed in decent condition. Nice conversion with multi levels and different seating areas. Not bad“

“First came here when it was a GK pub with three beers. Now a beer Mecca. Just had a couple of ales in good condition out of the about 10 on offer. Keg beers too, real ciders and what looks like a decent bottle list. Small garden out the back. Seems they organise events so a community pub too. Fantastic addition to the area. Micro brewery advertised as opening soon.“

“A properly local craft beer pub, where have you been all my life? Good selection, nice ambience, not tried the food yet. Extremely busy when I went two days after (re)opening, hope it thrives.“

“A lovely pub, very nicely renovated but retaining some old world charm. The beer list was terrific, the food was very good and there’s a small enclosed patio at the back where the Big Smoke, a six barrel brewery, is going to be opening soon. (Visited 15 March 2014).“

“Nice pub and good for watching sports, but I’m not a big fan of the brewery so the selection usually disappoints.“

“Good Youngs pub in Surbiton. Nice early 20th century building. Was once divided into saloon and public bar but now all one large pub. Best place I’ve been to for fresh Youngs beers. Sports pub but also popular with locals so friendly. Good service. Has a fairly decent range of Youngs bottled beers including Double Chocolate, Well’s Banana Bread and Young’s Light Ale amongst others. Also gets a couple of Young’s seasonals in aside from the three regulars.“
