“Bar in the Islay Frigate Hotel. Friendly people inside, beer garden out back if you're lucky enough to get sunshine. One from Fyne on tap is the beat choice. Otherwise Guinness, Tennent's, lagers, a couple ciders. Not a lot else in this town. You have two pubs, both about equally good, though this one is quieter.“

“Friendly, busy pub in Tarbert. One of 2 options in town. Not a lot of choice, 5 Fyne Ales in bottles were the best option. Taps were mostly from Tennent's, plus Guinness and Stella. Nice selection of whisky, though, and pretty cheap.“
