68 /100 Buoys on the Boulevard (Restaurant) 93 S OCEAN BLVD, I had to push Ed's wheelchair 2 blocks in the rain to get here and we rushed in past the check in desk and grabbed a table Ed chair could fit in. They had paper towels to dry us off. They brought us menus and the 6 of us had a nice meal. I did not have any beer here, even though most people around me had macro bottles and a few had drafts. |
56 /100 O D Lounge (Bar) 100 S OCEAN BLVD, After Pete's wedding we walked nearby to the OD Lounge. (lots of others went to rooms to change) They had several good beers on Tap. (a NEIPA and a Sour) Rest was same old stuff. Fun place, we played darts and pool. Bar area gets packed since you have to fight past people sitting at bar to order drinks. No table service. They do have food. |
76 /100 4924 HIGHWAY 17 SOUTH We stopped here back in May while in Myrtle. Large place with many activities going on outside (Corn hole, ping pong, etc) The beer was just ok, but a nice place to hang out. |
56 /100 Pavilion Discount Beverages - North Myrtle Beach (Beer Store) 1301 HIGHWAY 17 S Seems like many good 4 packs of craft beer here. I could not check much of that while Patty waits in car. I went to tiny single section and was surprised to find 8 good beers I wanted! I hope they put many more beers in single section before I come back... next year. |
72 /100 4924 HIGHWAY 17 SOUTH newly opened in Barefoot Landing. Massive, two sides, brewery, drinks only, and restaurant. A bit pricey, and not a huge selection, and not a lot of change in the beer menu. Because of the location though, I"ll be back. |
66 /100 Pavilion Discount Beverages - North Myrtle Beach (Beer Store) 1301 HIGHWAY 17 S Probably the best place to stop in North Myrtle, at least Bob thinks so. Decent selection of locals, many cold. I'd prefer more singles, very limited selection of those. Outside of locals, some Belgians, some bombers. Worth a stop for local beer. |
72 /100 Mellow Mushroom - North Myrtle Beach (Restaurant) 1101 HIGHWAY 17 N, This was a smaller mellow mushroom. We always go to the bar area. The bartenders here are top notch knowing the product and seeing to your needs. Worth a stop. |
60 /100 The Wine Shoppe (Beer Store) 3809 HWY. 17 S Dedicated free parking right on 17. The lady I interacted with was nice. Selection was quite limited. A few higher beers and a couple dozen six-packs. Prices were higher than average, but not crazy. |
64 /100 Mellow Mushroom - North Myrtle Beach (Restaurant) 1101 HIGHWAY 17 N, Free dedicated parking lot right in front. Eclectic atmosphere with a beach infused theme. Average service. Beer selection, both draft and bottle is pretty limited. Food is good as always. I would go back for the food, but not really a beer destination. |
62 /100 Pavilion Discount Beverages - North Myrtle Beach (Beer Store) 1301 HIGHWAY 17 S Right off one of the main streets in North Myrtle Beach. Small free dedicated parking lot right in front. Average bottle shop decor. Service was average. Fours taps and a few dozen big bottle, and descent six-pack selection. They do not break-up six-packs or have small format singles. Pricing was pretty good. I bought a bottle, I would come back if in the area. |
90 /100 Pavilion Discount Beverages - North Myrtle Beach (Beer Store) 1301 HIGHWAY 17 S A very pleasant find on my recent holiday in North Myrtle Beach. Does not look like much from the outside but inside is easily the best bottle selection of North Myrtle beach - by far. Tons of singles/6 packs/imports. Growler station did not look very well kept up or signed, but the cashier knew how to work it, clean growlers properly, and knew the fine (unsigned) selection that was there. I walked out with a ton of Avery, Bells, Oskar Blues, Great Divide bottles and a couple of nice to find Terrapin and Sierra Nevada growlers. The service was great - one guy, large store, was over worked, but took time to clean my growlers and get everything rang in and boxed up well. More staff would have been helpful. Again - in North Myrtle, this is the only place you need to stop (the local Bi-Lo grocery store had some nice 6 and 12 packs of Sierra Nevada and New Belgium it should be noted). |
38 /100 The Wine Shoppe (Beer Store) 3809 HWY. 17 S They have a limited selection of craft beer. Impressed with the ones they had. Very overpriced. 10.50 for Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. 20.00 Allagash Cruiex. Rip off. Anyway I bought some beer, because there was not one place that sold good beer in this town. |
