“At the base of a U, in a small strip mall off the main drag. A bit difficult to find, but once GPS is trusted, it was found. Parking in the center of the U. Small building with a back room and brewing equipment to the other side, hidden from the front taproom. 4 seat bar with some small tables. The folks seemed to be locals. The tender knew his stuff, and may have been one of the brewers. The beers were interesting, and solid enough, without any standouts. Not too expensive.“

“Cop brewery in an industrial part of town, not far off 95. Pretty lively with coos and firemen in a Friday afternoon. A big patio and picnic tables that spill out on the street. Beer menu had a mix of IPAs, a few dark beers, some basic lagers and then a bunch of fruity stuff. Cheap flights of four. Beer is mostly pretty decent. Busy place. I didn't try the food but looked like bar care fare.“

“I really enjoy visiting this brewery. Their tasting room is large, set-up and decorated nicely with a terrific view of the brewhouse. There are plenty of indoor tables and chairs. The bar is ample, but not huge and has a couple large TV mounted on the wall behind it. They also have a large, covered, outdoor seating area. There is plenty of parking and there needs to be as they schedule live music, food trucks and fun events like “trivia night” and “dirty bingo” on the regular. Their selection of beers includes an array of styles and all are high quality. The service is friendly. The place get crowded and fairly loud during their scheduled events, so plan ahead and be prepared for that. When there isn’t a food-truck, they offer snacks, like craft popcorn, and there are a few restaurants that deliver. My favorite is “Spice” Thai Restaurant. Their rolls are large, as are their cuts of fish when you order sushi or sashimi - very reasonably priced as well. This is no place for children at night and that’s a pleasant change from the far-too-many family-friendly breweries in the area. I don’t have children and I don’t want to see, hear or babysit them while I’m out drinking. Let’s face it, most families aren’t very “everyone-else-around-them-friendly” when it comes to bar-like establishments. If you have children, hire a babysitter when you go out drinking, like in the old days. Highly recommended! “

“Cool place right off the I-95 in a strip mall. 24 beers on tap with flights of 4 for $8 (or more depending on the beer you choose). Wasn’t enthralled with the beer selection when I visited, but there were a couple of interesting ones. Not an especially notable spot, but if you’re looking to break up a drive, it’s a chill spot. They have a pour-your-own-wine section as well if you are that way inclined. Friendly service.“

“Amazing pizza, wraps, and subs from dough slingers in this small open format pizza pub. There is limited seating inside and out but thats really the only downside. Excellent service, and some great beer on tap and in bottle.“

“ A smaller but great place to sample good beer and wine. Sort of seperated by a wine area and a beer area. Menu is limited to cheese meat and fruit platters. Small outdoor seating area. All staff is friendly, give excellent service, and are very knowledgable. The beer selection on draft was very impressive. A lot of good, quality drinking beers on tap. Such a great experience. One of my fav places. Love chilling on the comfy couch tasting some beer and wine with some good cheeses.“

“The place is very small with 3 tables, not too much seating. Only 6 taps but all craft beers and different styles. The pizza is pretty good.“

“six or seven taps of malty/hoppy goodness and the best pizza on the treasure coast...I’ll use any excuse to visit. The owners, Rob and Lauren, are very friendly and personable, as is everyone behind the counter. A relaxing, comfortable vibe often accompanied by old surf movies on the small tv, there’s always a decent conversation at the bar. Try any pie with the ’Rasta Redneck’ wings and a Cigar City or limited release. You will be happy you did!“

“Basic ale house type of place. Typical decorations and ambiance for a mainstream bar. Typical fried bar food is tasty enough. Servers were okay and attentive enough. Fun place to bring friends. Beer selection is basic but did have some interesting bottles/drafts. Basic bar with a couple of good beers.“

“A neat little bar. The ambiance and decor are standard pub fare with a bit of flair. Lots of wine for those of you who like that sort of thing. A decent beer tap selection with fantastic prices makes this place worth a visit. Nice outdoor seating area as well, cool place.“

“It was a major commitment to beer that took my friends and I on our pilgrimage to St. Lucie for The Vine & Barley. I have heard good things about this place and always wanted to check it out. They get brews on tap that you just don’t get down south here. I was initially surprised about the small size of the place but found it to be a good thing. I had a great experience and a major part of that is due to the friendly knowledgeable barkeep. Huge selection of wine available as well. I would call and ask about the rare stuff on tap before driving all the way up there again. Over all it was worth the visit for sure. I would return for the hard to find drafts.“

“24 beers on tap, another 50 in bottles, also have about 100 bottles of wine. Meat and cheese platters for food. The selection over beer is solid and he has enough of a variety for everyone. Growlers are available for most beers. The prices of both beer and wine are close to retail and sometimes less.“

“Very nice atmosphere in a small strip mall. The bar is in the back, past their wine system which looks pretty cool (wine isn’t my thing). I’ve never had a problem getting a seat at the bar, I’ve only been there on slower nights but I’ve been told it gets very busy on weekends. The selection is worth the drive (I live 90 minuets away) if only because they get things that we never get a chance at in South Florida. Brewdog, Brooklyn, Bells and Sierra’s specialty stuff as well beers we get in bottles but not in kegs. The beers are always rotating (check their website) and the prices are the best I’ve seen. Service is excellent and one of the owners is often behind the bar. If this place was closer I’d live there“

“Finally a good beer bar on the east coast. Very nice rotating selection, including stuff you wouldn’t expect to see there. Marc the owner was attentive and happy to let you sample. TVs for the sports enthusiasts, and lots of wine for the wine enthusiasts.“

“Fine bar - 75% wine and 25% beer, however the beer part is superb. Twenty-some micros on tap of a range of styles and a good choice of bottles, all seeming to be on a rotation. Nice comfortable bar area. Staff was helpful and willing to discuss & share.“

“I had heard of the place for quite awhile and many friend told me about them so I had to take the trip. I love the feel of the place. It’s like a laid back coffee shop that has a bar. Great selection on tap and bottle and at very competitive prices. You can get growler fills as well. The growler itself is $6 and the owner told me that is at cost. Then you pay for 3 pints of the beer of choice with the 4th free. I’m going back this weekend with some friends and we look forward to it.“

“Drove up from Lake Worth the other day and was very impressed with the place. Marc, the owner, was behind the bar and couldn’t have been more acomidating and courtious. Lot of good drafts that are not available farther south, I got a growler of the Brooklyn Cookie Jar Porter. It was well worth the drive and I look forward to making it up as often as I can.“

“This bar presents itself as a very upscale place. A nice selection of beer, about 20+ taps, and wine if that’s your thing as well. I’d been after a very busy weekend and unfortunately some of their taps had been killed the nights before. You can purchase beer to go in growlers, as i did. I took home some Chimay Triple! WiFi is available in the place, proper glassware is used. Kevin was our bartender, he had a good knowledge of the beers on tap and provided excellent, friendly service. Other patrons at the bar were also quite knowledgeable. All in all, i really enjoyed the place. A little more upscale than my usual haunt underground bluz in Orlando, I’ll definitely be returning.“

“A great beer selection (for the location) will keep me coming back often. Bell’s Hopslam on tap! Are you kidding me? Awesome! They have quite a few of Broooklyn’s along with some other hard to find brews on tap and in bottles. And even better, I was told the selection rotates fairly well. Another nice option at this place is that when you want to try the four beer sampler you get to choose the ones you want to taste, unlike the Yardhouse in PBG where they decide what you’re going to be trying. I get the feeling once the word starts to spread south of PSL, this place is going to be hard to get into during busy hours. I met Hopscotch, and another ratebeerian whose handle escapes me, for the first time here. Two cool people. They had their computer up on the bar reviewing RB ratings of what was on the menu. Good stuff. Update: Back again, this time we sat at the bar and spoke with Mark and Kevin. Both very friendly with a lot of knowledge and willing to listen to comments on the subject of beer“

Just noticed that my rating is the lowest of them all. Throw it out... and throw out the highest. I moved to Florida from D.C./Baltimore and was a regular at Max’s on Broadway, The Brickskeller, Pizza Paridiso and have visited Toronado, O’Briens, David Copperfield’s, the Blind Tiger, the Map Room, Hop Devil, etc... places with hundreds of taps and hundreds of bottles of ridiculous beers. Compared to other establishments in Florida, I’d put Vine & Barley up in the 87th percentile. ***Original Rating*** What a nice little place. Elegant, laid back and as quiet as you want it to be. Vine & Barley is very reminiscent of an upscale coffee house; only instead of fair trade java, this place specializes in hand crafted wines and beers. I’m more into the 24 beer taps than I am the 75+ wines available via the "self serve" Enomatic Wine Serving System, but I also enjoy a nice glass of wine and don’t imagine it will be very long before I explore some of their delicious, affordable red wines.“
